Approximately three hundred attended, one of the largest attendances for some years. Conducted by Port Wakefield ANZAC Day Committee, (now a subcommittee of the Port Wakefield Community Management Committee since the Port Wakefield RSL dissolved) and supported by the Proof & Experimental Establishment (P&EE) and Port Wakefield residents, the morning was cool and crisp but not unpleasant. Kieran Phelan, President of the ANZAC Day committee officially received guests and the service began with Catafalque Party from P&EE and followed by Call to Worship by Pastor Colin Heslop.
