3 Thank You I would like to sincerely thank all my kind friends who made phone calls, sent cards & flowers and took the time to visit me in hospital over the last 8 weeks, both at Lyell McEwan and Balaklava. Due to the fact that for the first 2 weeks I was very ill and heavily medicated, I realize now there were a lot of people who visited me and also phoned that I have no recollection of. I apologize for this. However I am grateful to you all for caring. I wish you all a very happy Christmas and wherever you may be spending the holiday season stay safe. Santa walking backwards Australia Day Celebrations to go ahead in Port Wakefield The Australia Day Awards and Celebrations will go ahead in Port Wakefield thanks to the Avon District Hall Inc. committee who have taken up the offer from Port Wakefield Community Management Committee for a community organisation to use the event as a fundraiser. Nomination forms for Citizen of the Year and Young Achiever Awards are included in this newsletter and at the Post Office. It s nice to know there is community spirit in Port Wakefield. So thank you again to the kind person who did this kind deed.
