4 Observations of Christmas Displays A good effort was again made by Port Wakefield residents in decorating their homes for Christmas. It was interesting to see the great detail that some had gone to and the more simple displays of others who for reasons of age, health or ability nevertheless entered into the spirit of Christmas by their decorations or lights. It was great to see so many engage in the local celebration of Christmas. The Christmas Carols, hosted by the Uniting Church and their group of young ones brought the community together and was appreciated by the large crowd who attended. After attending the event a drive around Port Wakefield s streets and displays was interesting and engaging in the darkness and certainly demonstrated community effort. Congratulations to all involved. A casual observer. Newsletter Christmas Raffle Prize Winners. The Port Wakefield Community Newsletter ended up with thirty nine (39) prizes for the Christmas Raffle.
