Certificate of Appreciation Pat Halls proudly shows her certificate of appreciation presented to her by Joy Ryan for her contribution to the Pink Day for cancer awareness recently held in Balaklava. Port Wakefield Community Christmas Colouring in Competition The colouring in Competition is being held again this year in conjunction with Community Carols. There are 3 different age groups 0 to 5 years, 6 to 9 years and 10 to 13 years. The colouring in sheets will be distributed to the Primary School and Kindergarten in the next few weeks and you can pick up sheet for your children from the Port Wakefield Post Office or Newsagency from the 2 nd November. One entry per child and we ask that the colouring to be the work of the entrant. Please return the completed sheet with the entrants name, age and telephone number on the back and hand it in at the Post Office by 11th December The winners will be announced at Community Carols on Sunday 20th December, 7.30pm at the Port Wakefield Soldiers Memorial Hall. 3 Community Bus to Munno Para and Salisbury Remembrance Day Service A short Remembrance Day Service will be held at the Memorial Arch on WED 11 th Nov at 10.45am. All members of the community are welcome to attend. Dublin and District Bingo at Port Parham Sports and Social club, held every Tues 9.30am eyes down at 10am. Contact Pat Wakey bingo will be held on Friday 6 th Nov Why not come along for a fun night and you might even win a game or 2. Bingo will be on every 2 nd Friday at 7.30pm (pension week!). Why not give it a go if you have never played bingo. It is FUN!! Every Saturday is bingo at Port Clinton at 2pm. Fun, fun even have a laugh or two.
