2 A WHITE COLLAR STYLE BOXING EVENT Resort Le Meridien Ile Maurice, Pointe aux Piments, Mauritius THE CONCEPT In front of approximately 350 guests enjoying a three-course black tie dinner, two teams of white collar boxers will take part in the first ever event of its type in Mauritius THE COMPETITORS Each competitor will complete a 10 week intensive training programme under the supervision of the Mauritius National Boxing Centre coaches and staff at their facilities in Vacoas THE BOUTS Each bout is a major test of skill, stamina and commitment, supervised by an experienced referee. Each competitior will compete in three two-minute rounds with head guards being compulsory. Competitors will enter the ring in true Vegasstyle with an entourage of corner men, trainers, sponsors, ring girls and music of their choice. THE GUESTS All guest will enjoy reception drinks and canapés in Le Meridiens reception lobby bar, a three-course dinner and drinks, 8 bouts of boxing, DJ and post-bout party until midnight. Sponsorship packages are now available, running up to the event on 11th Novemebr 2017 but hurry as spaces are limited. MARKETING ACTIVITY marketing campaigns will take place promoting the event its sponsors. MEDIA COVERAGE Press coverage will be well organised and released pre event including the story of our sponsor partnerships. SOCIAL MEDIA Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts have been created to generate interest in the event to the whole population of Mauritius. Visitors will have the ability to post comments, share photos of the competitiors throughout their training programme. Weekly video footage of training and interviews will be placed online where followers can review progress and get to know the competitors. BRANDING AND ON-SITE ACTIVITY Use the event for branding above and beyond the usual banners and logos. Take advantage of logos on a fighter, provide a trophy or award for a specific fight or the whole night, run your advert on the monitors and screens on the fight night, reach guests with samples or gifts at dining the table or tables, host competitions, invite you own VIP guests to your own table, fully catered with a 3 course dinner and drinks. 5 BE A COMPETITOR Unsponsored boxers can participate in the event at a cost of $1000 which in part covers the cost of coaching, training facilities and boxing equipment, including: 1 pair 16oz boxing gloves (used for training sessions) 1 pair 12oz boxing gloves (used for the fight night) 1 head protector 1 pair wrist bandages 1 gum shield 1 pair boxing boots (supplied after 8 weeks training completed) 1 pair of boxing shorts (fight night) 1 fight t-shirt (fight night with sponsor logo) 1 jockstrap (fight night) SPONSOR A FIGHTER Sponsor a fighter at a cost of $1000 which in part covers the cost of coaching, training facilities and boxing equipment OR Take two full sponsor package tables (Silver, Gold or Platinum) of 10 as described in this brochure.
