6 STOMP OUT Bullying Session In honor of Bullying Awareness Month, we invite all students to join Mrs. Butzier, Mrs. Thompson, and Mrs. Armentrout after school on Monday, October 22nd from 3:30-4 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Come share your concerns and help create awareness posters to STOMP OUT bullying at Edwards Middle School. Together we can make Edwards a place for everyone!!

15 Interested in joining Power of the Pen? See Miss Delnay at Viz in room 103 to join! What: Power of the Pen is a creative writing competition for the state of Ohio that is held in January. Writers will meet weekly to practice crafting stories and thinking creatively! Who: PoP is for both Edwards and Viz, 7th/8th grade students who have a passion for writing and storytelling! If you have ever written stories on your own, then come hear more about PoP! When: The first informational meeting is this Wednesday, October 17th from 3:30-4 in room 103 at Viz. Go to study tables first!

18 No Gossip Tuesdays Every Tuesday from here on out, Edwards Middle School will hold a Table-Topper Tuesday. Every Tuesday there will be table toppers on the tables at lunch to remind us to Think Before We Speak. They re here to remind us that gossip can hurt others, and that we should avoid it in our everyday conversations. If you don t want to participate in a negative conversation, you can refer to the table toppers. *We encourage all students to participate in this activity!*
