It is first come, first serve and will be prompt. You must be present to sign up. Arrive at mezzanine BEFORE your mezzanine/practice time listed below. We don t want you to miss your time! Your mezzanine/practice time is 28 minutes prior to your performance. The mezzanine is at the top of the stairs on your left. It will lead you directly to your on deck and in the hole time. You will get 4 minutes at your first station, 4 minutes at your second station, and 4 minutes on the spring board floor only for stretching. Then you will go to the Gym for your photo time. All Questions for technical judges should be asked prior to performing. Please bring your CD/mp3 player and backups of your music with you to the DJ when you come down from the mezzanine for your on deck time. You may have your music checked before the competition starts or on the lunch break. Please put your song in a PLAYLIST all by itself so it doesn t automatically start playing the next song. You are responsible for your classroom. Please review the classroom rules. Lock up your valuables. Do not leave any money, ipods, phones, or anything of value in your bags in the classrooms/locker rooms. Watertown/WACPC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Be sure to pick up your WACPC clothing orders if you preordered. Please check your order. For the safety of everyone Only registered coaches and team members with designated wristbands are allowed down secure hallways. No parent helpers are allowed. Please notify your parents, as security will not make exceptions. Remember to check your dancers for piercings and hairbands on their wrists prior to coming into the gym for in the hole Dance will have a maximum of 6 teams that can qualify for WACPC Championships. Qualifiers will be determined by the number of teams that actually competed on the day of a regional competition. If a team drops or does not perform on the day of a regional competition this may affect the number of qualifiers. Ties are recognized as places; therefore, the number of state qualifiers will increase only in the case of a tie for the last qualifying position. For example: If three teams in a division would qualify for state, and two teams tie for 2nd place; 1st, 2nd, and 2nd places would be announced as qualifiers. 6 or less teams = 3 qualify 9-10 teams = 5 qualify 7-8 teams = 4 qualify 11+ teams = 6 qualify You can videotape your team only (let parents know) You can get a team photo today in the gym. Ordering & printing today right on site. Perform facing your sign in the gym Trainer table is on the East end of the gym by the music table. See the trainer with all injuries. Use timeouts for an injury or equipment failure; Music will restart. The trainer will assess the injury and the team will be put back into the lineup. Timeouts must be obvious and occur during the performance, not after. Score sheets will be available at the end of the day from the tally table. We do not mail them. Use good sportsmanship; athletes model their coaches. Please take the time to nominate a team you see exhibiting good sportsmanship. Nomination forms are available at the sound table. Please refrain from leaving the gym until all the awards are finished. Please check on Monday for your state qualifying information.
