14 SYRIAN SHRINE UNIT & CLUB INFORMATION MUSTANG UNIT All Nobles, We are very excited to have the opportunity to bring back the former "Desert Riders" Mustang's. It has taken a lot of work to get a few of the cars back into good running order over the past winter. Our group is looking forward to participating and parading with everyone in the coming 2017 season. If anyone is interested in getting some information on joining, please contact our director Jeff or the Assistant Director Jeremy The plan is for us to meet the second Wednesday of every month. Also, it has been a struggle to find parts for these cars due to the age of the cars. We are trying to reach out to anyone who used to be in the unit that may have some old parts laying around they would like to give back to the unit. Again we are excited to participate and grow this Mustang's unit throughout the 2016 season, and welcome anyone who is interested in joining. Thank You, Mustangs THE RUFFIANS CINCINNATI #1 We are, in case you weren t aware, a newly formed organization focused on young members. We are structured as a Masonic Outreach Club. Now we re not just focused on our current young members, but about helping men find the light of Freemasonry, and further light in the Shrine. Our membership is open to all Nobles of the Shrine who are Young at Heart and are seeking a way to stay that way. The Ruffians, Cincinnati #1 is alternative version of the popular YoShi Clubs at many Shrine Temples. And as the Number 1, suggests we are the first club of kind. We are structured as a Younger group, with this being said. Our voting members are 50 years old and younger. Once a member reaches 50 years of age and receives his AARP card, that member can no long vote in the club. But, that member is still very encouraged to continue to participate in all of the functions. We try to hold an outing or function every month in addition to our official stated meeting. Our clubs purpose is to promote friendship and fellowship among its members and ALL our Fraternity Brothers. Our Goal is reach out to our current membership and new potential members, to keep our members engaged in all aspects of masonry and bring in new members to strengthen our entire fraternity. We are and have been working towards helping new Blue Lodge Brothers with their work, help them find out about other opportunities within our fraternity and encourage their new passion for Masonry that we all felt when we first joined.
