2 March 25th Sherwood Forest Faire In order to attend this event, you must have RSVP d for it due to a limited number of tickets. If you have not RSVP d and received a number from Mrs. Baird or Mr. Stinson, you will not be eligible to attend this event. Please dress nice & wear a comfortable pair of shoes. April 28th Texas State Hip Hop Congress We will travel to San Marcos to Texas State University and meet with other TRIO programs. This is also a RSVP only event so make sure your name is on the list. Everyone who goes gets a shirt and lunch will be provided. ACT for Juniors Juniors, remember ACT is on 2/10/2018 & 4/14/2018! Be at your Testing site EARLY! Remember your calculators and pencils. We recommend getting there by 7:30 am. You must have your own transportation for this. (Don t forget to have a photo ID and your ACT ticket. If you didn t register for this session, plan on attending the June 9th test date. The deadline to register is March 9, 2018.
3 What is the difference between the ACT & SAT? The SAT contains three sections: Reading, Math, and Writing and Language. The ACT contains four sections: Reading, Math, English, and Science. Both also have an optional essay. Each section has a different format of the ACT compared to the SAT, but only a few differences really matter.
