REVISIONS 1. On page 24 of 730, under Section 2A Item 6.2.A.1, entire paragraph is replaced by the following: "Must have completed a minimum of two (2) lighting retrofit projects with a minimum value of 150,000 Canadian dollars each (excluding taxes). At least one of these projects must include lighting retrofits in a municipality type building(s) including coordination with work occurring in occupied buildings." 2. The Pricing Form on pages 37, 38 and 39 of 730 have been revised. Please use the attached Revised Pricing Form pages in your bid submission. 3. Appendix B for Metro Hall on page 140 of 730 has been revised. Please use the attached Revised Appendix B page. B. QUESTIONS & ANSWERS Q1. We have reviewed the project documents and have the following concern related to this tender. In Section 2 of the information to bidders, item 1 it is noted that the contractor must have the experience of (3) lighting retrofit projects in excess of 500,000.00? We find the request for 3 projects of this magnitude to be totally unrealistic. Most lighting retrofit projects run in the area of 50, to 250,000.00, with the majority being in the K area. Please review and advise if this will be revised in an addendum? A1. The City reduced the required number of projects and value as noted in Revision #1 above. Q2. We are a ballast manufacturer for the past 29 years & LEDs for the past 6 years. As well our sister company makes fixtures. Can we submit our products as alternatives to the existing ones listed? A2. The award(s) shall be based on the Products specified in the tender documents. Alternate materials that are not listed may be proposed as a substitution after the award. Rulings on a proposed substitution Product will not be made prior to the award. Substitutions shall not be made without the prior approval of the Contract Administrator. The approval or rejection of a proposed substitution Product will be made at the discretion of the Contract Administrator. 1 of 8

The Statutory Declaration of the Occupational Health and Safety Act is mandatory after the Closing Date, prior to award. The Environmentally Responsible Procurement Statement is not mandatory. C.
