2 8 Ball Pool League Finishes First Month of Play LeRoy Wasland 8 Ball Pool League has just wrapped up its first month of play. So far, we have had some great competition between all of our competitors! We have a tie atop the leaderboard thus far, as Jack Knox and Bruce Reinhardt both currently sit in first place! With such great competition this year, stay tuned to the next newsletter to see who takes over the reigns! If you did not get in to 8 Ball, the 9-ball pool league starts on December 13. Cost to play is $ Please sign up in the Billiard Room. HEALTH ADVICE FROM TYLER The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends 150 minutes (2.5 hours) of moderate level activity per week. Those with 7+ hours of activity per week have 40% less risk of dying early compared to those who are active less than 30 minutes per week. Walking is the single most effective form of exercise form as it is zero cost, has a low dropout rate, and is easy and safe. 2 Tyler Turbak Doctor of Physical Therapy Prairie Lakes Healthcare System Wii Bowling One of the most popular activities held at the Senior Activities Center, Wii Bowling is back and we have an incredible amount of participants for the Fall edition. Through 3 weeks, our division leaders are: A: Lee Jackson B: Hubert Valberg C: Peggy Sheldon Mavis Valberg
