1 *2018 Ice Show* Dear Parents and Show Skaters: The 2018 skaters will be skating to the theme Skate Vegas! The show is co-sponsored by the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club and the Stevens Point Parks and Recreation Department. We will have three shows. Two shows will be held on Saturday, April 7 th, one at 2:00pm and one at 7:00pm. The third show will be held on Sunday, April 8 th at 2:00pm. All show participants must skate all three shows. The ice show is provided for the benefit of all skaters enrolled in either the C.I.F.S.C. or the K.B. Willett Ice Arena Learn-To-Skate program. This includes not just Freestyle skaters, but also Tots, Pre-Alphas, Alphas, Betas, Gammas, Deltas & Adults. We certainly hope everyone enjoys participating. We do need the cooperation of all skaters and parents in order to prepare for this community event. Skaters pictures in Ice Show Programs: Skaters will receive their costumes the week of March 11 th. Be prepared to stay for about a half hour after rehearsal to change into your costume for pictures. All female skaters need suntan colored tights. They will not be included with your costume, but will be available for purchase for $12.00 child sizes, $14.00 for adult sizes in the Ice Arena Lobby area through the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club Locker Room Assignments during the Ice Show Room Locker Room #1 & #2 Locker Room #3 & #4 Locker Room #5 Locker Room (SPASH Room) Locker Room (UWSP Training Room) Groups All Tots/ Pre-Alpha/Alpha Beta, Gamma, Delta Freestyle Specialties Solos & Seniors

2 *To ensure a smooth running show, we require all skaters to remain in his/her assigned lockerroom during the shows. All skaters will be able to watch the Technical & Dress Rehearsals. Things To Do: 1.) All skates must be polished 2.) Wear your costume here during dress rehearsal and on show days only. 3.) Have your name on all extra clothes, costumes, combs etc. 4.) All skaters should be at the ice arena and in their assigned rooms approximately one half hour before show time. 5.) Absloutely no food, candy, or beverages allowed in the locker rooms. 6.) Please remove all belongings from rooms after each show. 7.) Those skaters wearing brown rental skates must wear boot covers (they can be purchased in K.B. Willett Ice Arena Skate Shop. $9.00) 8.) All Female skaters need to have suntan colored tights. Tights will not be provided with costumes, but will be available for purchase for $12.00 child sizes, $14.00 for adult sizes in the Ice Arena Lobby Area through the Crystal Ice Figure Skating Club. Rehearsals: It is essential that all skaters attend rehearsal sessions. Skaters may only miss one rehearsal and remain in the number. Technical and Dress rehearsals are mandatory. Technical Rehearsal (TR) Thursday, April 5 th 5:00pm- 8:30pm Dress Rehearsal (DR) Friday, April 6 th 5:00pm- 8:30pm Rental Skates: Rental Skates can be checked out from our skate rental room for the ice show starting on Monday, April 2 nd. There is no cost for you, but please treat them with care. Wipe blades off completely after each usage. Please return skates to the skate rental room after the final performance on Sunday. If skates are lost or damaged, the user will be responsible for the replacement cost. Volunteers: The Ice Show would not be possible without parents and friends assistance. Volunteers are needed during all Ice Show performances. If you wish to volunteer for any of the ice shows, please sign up during your child s rehearsals on the sign up board located in the Ice Arena lobby area. Concession Stand: For your convenience the concession stand will be open on both Technical and Dress rehearsal nights from 4:00-8:00pm. Show Tickets/Reserve ~ General Admission: This years Advanced Ticket Sales will go on sale at CW Tickets, 2740 Stanley Street (Rear of Building, Parking in the back) starting on Monday, March 5 th thru Wednesday April 4 th. Tickets can be purchased in person Monday thru Thurs. 3:00pm- 6:00pm, by phone at (715) or Online (Starts March 5 th thru April 4 th ) at cwtickets.com (Click on the link to order tickets). Cash, Credit and Debit cards are accepted. No Refunds, All Sales Final. No Holds. Checks accepted with Identification Only. Ticket costs are $7.00 for reserved seating and $6.00 for General Admission for adults/children. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the KB Willett Ice Arena office window on the Technical and Dress Rehersal evenings and one hour before each show performance at the K.B. Willett Arena (West Entrance Only). Special Needs/Assisted Seating is located on the top level of general admission seating.(north West corner of Ice Arena). Thank You! This year s show, Skate Vegas will take place April 7th and 8th, The spotlight, directed at the fine amateur skating talent of Central Wisconsin, consistently attracts over 2,500 local spectators. We are asking for your support by placing an ad in the official program. Past sponsors have benefited from this advertising avenue; we feel the competitive cost makes it a good value for you too. 7 ICE SHOW PICTURE SCHEDULE Costumes will be distributed at practices March 11 th through March 15 th. Tights will be available for purchase during this week only. Cost is $12 for child sizes and $14 for adult sizes. Please bring EXACT change or a check payable to CIFSC. Tights do NOT need to be worn for pictures. In most cases Group and Individual pictures will be taken AFTER the first practice except where noted below. If your picture time is AFTER practice, please get the costume on immediately after exiting the ice and proceed to the warming room. If your picture time is BEFORE practice, be sure to arrive at the rink early enough to allow time to get your costume on and be ready for the scheduled picture time. We will not be able to wait for skaters who are late.
