6 6 NE WI Kids Fishing Outing July 15 The Boundary Waters Musky Club, along with the Headwaters and Title Town chapters of Muskies Inc. are sponsoring the fifth annual NE Wisconsin Kids Fishing Outing for kids ages 10 to 17 on Saturday, July 15th. Registration will be from 7 to 7:30AM at the Silver Lake Pavilion on Silver Lake, Hwy 32, Laona, rain or shine. The event will run from 7:30 until Noon; any lake in the area may be fished. Lunch will be served and prizes given for the largest fish in each category. All participating kids will receive a special gift. Kids will be matched up with guides, will be fishing from boats, and may fish for their choice of species and by any method. According to Dan Lazzeroni, event chairman, last year s event was another success. This is a great way to introduce kids to various types of fishing, and if they are interested, musky fishing. In the event of rain, prizes will be distributed to those kids attending. The number of kids that can participate may be limited by the availability of guides with boats. We are once again anticipating 50 kids and 25 guides. Any angler that is willing to take two or three kids fishing is encouraged to contact the organizers. Prospective guides should contact Dan at or Nick Vento at Requests for additional information and pre-registration for the kids can be done through our FaceBook site, BWMC Muskies Inc. Kids Outing, or via at bwmckids@gmail.com. Parents will need to sign a waiver for their child to participate unless of course the parent is guiding. The waiver can be ed to those parents not attending. For information about the Boundary Waters Musky Club, see their web site at bwmuskyclub.com; the Headwaters Chapter of Muskies Inc. at headwatersmuskies.com; the Title Town Chapter of Muskies Inc. at titletownmuskiesinc.org.
