Monster raffle tickets can be handed back to your Manager anytime soon. We thank you again for making the effort to sell your tickets. If, however, you can t sell the tickets that you have, please return them to your manager asap as there may be somebody else in the club who can sell them. Please remember that all monies raised from the tickets comes back to the Club. MMMMmmmm don t forget with those end of year get togethers, celebrations or commiserations don t worry about slaving over a barbie...just order some Dominos pizzas instead!!! Saturday 4 th August last round of the comp for U7 s through to U13 s. Also on Saturday 4 th August End of season BBQ at Gwawley Oval from approx 3pm! All teams are invited back to Gwawley for a Sausage Sizzle (on the house) further details to follow. Three weeks off from footy due to holidays and bad weather showed this week. The boys did come out in the last third thou and show there true talents. All the boys tried very hard but Darcy s tackling was a stand out. Kai s, Ryan s and Jarrod s running also stood out. Costa and Harry also showed great tackling and running skills. Start resting boys you have a big two weeks coming up, with our final round and gala day the week after. You all worked really hard to make it happen today. There were some great passes to set up the tries, as well as really fantastic defence. Your tackling has improved so much. We got onto those lose balls which was helped with some great runs to score our tries. It is so good to see how much you have all come over the season. Keep up the fantastic work for our upcoming last game of the season. Our tries this week went to Dylan x1, Kacey x 3, Zane x2 and Cruz x2. Dylan also scored a goal. The first half was very exciting to watch, defensively there was improvement this week and there were also some good attacking plays with the highlight being a beautiful try to Zane following a fantastic cut out pass from Patrick to keep us in touch at 16-6 half time score. De la Salle are a very skilled team and after the break they came back with new determination and unfortunately the score got away from us in the end but you can hold your heads high for not giving up. Even though we were outclassed, our boys can hold their heads high for not giving up. We showed that when we hunt in packs we can tackle the biggest or fastest opponents. Only 2 rounds to go boys...we should have a full team...let's finish off our season on a high by being the best we can be!!! Special thanks to Kieran for coaching the boys on Saturday.
