Bad News - unfortunately there were no senior matches last Saturday due to various reasons. The 1st XV had to cry off their Intermediate Cup match away at Brighton due to a long injury list, particularly in the front row where we were unable to provide the necessary replacements for a cup match. This had a knock on effect throughout the club which, added to a list of unavailabilities caused in some part by the international at Twickenham and also by some members being on tour in Dubai at a Vets tournament, meant that we could not even field one team for a friendly match. Good News - the above meant that everyone got a chance to watch England put in a fantastic performance against the All Blacks. Well done Chris Robshaw, Stuart Lancaster and the team and let's hope it's a start of new era for England. These have huge sentimental value to him and if anyone finds them on the pitches he would be extremely grateful to have them back. Have a good look if you're walking the pitches. Consequently we urge you all to act in a proper manner both on and off the pitch. Violent play and abuse of the referee are viewed extremely seriously by both the Club and Surrey RFU. Thousands of people attend Warlingham Rugby Club each year including mini, junior and senior players of the rugby, netball and cricket sections along with parents, supporters and visitors from opposition teams. In addition we also welcome thousands of members of the general public who attend our very popular Car Boot Sales.
