Ons wil graag die volgende inligting aangaande die verskillende sportsoorte onder u aandag bring. Sweetpakbroeke is nie toelaatbaar tydens wedstryde nie * Geen oorbelle ( nie studs / ringetjies ) of horlosies word toegelaat nie.

Indien u kind nie aan die wedstryd kan deelneem waarvoor hy gekies is nie, moet u asb. so gou moontlik die skool in kennis stel, sodat n plaasvervanger gereël kan word.

3 Spelers word aan die begin van n seisoen geëvalueer en spanindelings word daarvolgens gedoen. Daar vind deurlopende evaluering plaas gedurende die seisoen en gevolglik sal spanindelings van wedstryd tot wedstryd kan verander. Spelers wat by Durbanville Voorbereidingskool Nasorgsentrum is, kan tydens wegwedstryde gedurende die week reel om n moontlike geleentheid by die afrigters te kry. Indien u van hierdie reëling gebruik wil maak moet u die sportkantoor betyds in kennis stel sodat die nodige vrywaringsvorm ingevul kan word. Geen kind sal sonder n vrywaringsvorm in n personeellid se motor gelaai word nie. Maak asseblief seker dat u kind vertroud is met hierdie reëling. Indien u kind dus n ander nasorg bywoon, moet u self vervoerreëlings tref. Maak asb. seker u kind weet presies wie hom / haar oplaai na oefeninge en wedstryde. 6 SPORTS DEPARTMENT / SPORT DEPARTEMENT RUGBY / NETBALL / HOCKEY WINTER PROGRAMME April 2018 We trust that you will enjoy the winter sports programme with us. Kindly take note of the following information regarding the winter sports. CODE OF CONDUCT FOR SPECTATORS Parents are reminded that the children are playing sport for their pleasure. Please support all players positively Please accept decisions made by referees as well as match officials Never criticize or verbally abuse players, referees or opposing officials. Be reminded that the children are playing a game, not fighting a battle. PARENTS ARE REQUESTED NOT TO ATTEND SPORT PRACTICES AS IT DISTRACTS THE CHILDREN AND THEY THEN CANNOT FOCUS ON THE PRACTICE. CLOTHING RUGBY - Practices: Blue PT shorts and school PT shirt. Matches: Rugby jersey and blue PT shorts, available at De Jagers NETBALL - Practices: Blue PT shorts and school PT shirt. Matches: Match dress for all netball players grd 1,2 and 3 available at De Jagers. HOCKEY - Practices: Blue PT shorts, school PT shirt, socks and takkies. Matches: GIRLS : same as netball with long socks BOYS : same as rugby with long socks. SOCKS available at the Primary school. * We do a friendly appeal to parents to please send used rugby jerseys that are too small to school so that we can start a rugby jersey clothing bank. Tracksuits are NOT allowed to be worn during matches. *** No earrings are allowed.

Players born in 2011 U/7,2010 U/8, 2009 U/9. Players born in 2008 participate at the D ville Primary School. If it starts raining during a practice the children will be kept in the classrooms until practise time is over. This arrangement will not apply if sport is cancelled due to wet weather. A cancellation sms will be send out at 12:00. Each player who is chosen to play in a match during the week will receive a letter pertaining to match details before or on the TUESDAY. IF YOUR CHILD DOES NOT RECEIVE A LETTER (marked with his name), THEN HE / SHE HAS NOT BEEN CHOSEN FOR THAT PARTICULAR MATCH. The letters for urday matches will be handed out on Thursdays. Please be punctual and report to your coach 15 minutes before a match. It could happen that our opponents do not have the same number of teams as we have this could result in some of our teams not playing a league match during that particular week. We will however try to give our learners as many opportunities as possible to play matches. If your child has been chosen for a match and for some reason he cannot play on that day, please inform the school, so that a replacement can be arranged.

8 Players are being evaluated at the beginning of the season, and teams will be selected accordingly. Continuous evaluation will be done throughout the season and therefore team selection could change from match to match. ONLY players who are at the Durbanville Prep Aftercare will be transported to and from away matches by their coaches by prior arrangement through the Sports Office. Please ensure that you complete the Indemnity Form regarding their transport. NO child will be transported without the necessary forms being submitted. If your child attends another aftercare the transport arrangements is your responsibility. Please ensure that your child is familiar with who collects him / her after practices and matches.
