ABOUT BAYVIEW GOLF CLUB Located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Bayview Golf Club is a privately owned club widely known for it s friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Hidden among the Peninsula s rolling hills, our undulating, tree-lined course offers 18 holes of pure sporting enjoyment. Our recently built state of the art clubhouse provides members with a stylish members lounge, restaurant and bar. Throughout it s history, Bayview Golf Club has maintained a unique spirit that has set it aside from other clubs. We look forward to welcoming you to Bayview Golf Club.

BAYVIEW GOLF CLUB HISTORY In 1924 a New Zealand sheep farmer, John Orr and his wife Christina Orr, arrived in Australia. The couple purchased a parcel of land known as the Winnererremy Swamp.

3 BAYVIEW GOLF CLUB HISTORY In 1924 a New Zealand sheep farmer, John Orr and his wife Christina Orr, arrived in Australia. The couple purchased a parcel of land known as the Winnererremy Swamp. John was a keen golfer and it wasn t long before he built six holes for his own enjoyment. Being a generous man, he asked others to play while Christina entertained with afternoon tea. Competition & Social Play In 1928, a small Clubhouse was built and a tin was nailed to an Ironbark tree beside the 1st tee. An honesty system of 1 shilling a round was agreed upon. In 1932, a larger Clubhouse was built and in 1933, more land was purchased on the far side of Cabbage Tree Road. MONDAY Social Play from 7:30am TUESDAY Social Play from 12:30pm WEDNESDAY Social Play from 1pm THURSDAY Social Play from 12pm FRIDAY Social Play all day SATURDAY Social Play from 1pm Our Golf Club has had a number of name changes over the years Bayview Links, Bayview Country Club and Bayview Country Golf Links. In 1948, Bayview Golf Club Limited was formed. The Club was leased by the Members until 1967, when funds were raised to purchase the Club from the Orrs. In February of 2009, Bayview Golf Club invested in a new $7.2 million state of the art Clubhouse. Our members now have access to a stylish members lounge, bar and restaurant. All members are eligible to play after competitions and on public holidays, providing the days are in accordance with their level of membership. SUNDAY Social Play from 11:30am

4 Golf For Kids PLAY & LEARN Bayview Golf Club continues to attract and develop junior talent while providing a pathway for children to improve their golf. CADET MEMBERSHIP Cadet Memberships are available for children aged between 8 and 14 years looking to start playing golf. Our Cadets learn the rules, etiquette and skills of the game from professional instructors and have the opportunity to play in weekly events. The Cadet Membership is designed to progressively develop golf skills to the level that is required to move into Junior Membership at Bayview Golf Club. PRACTICE Tuition fees are set at $125 per term and registration is done via the My Golf website. Friday afternoon Coaching Clinics run from 3:50pm till 4:50pm during the school term. LESSONS Cadet Members are required to regularly attend Professional Coaching Clinics and private golf lessons. JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP Our Junior Membership is designed for players between 11 and 17 years. Junior players have the opportunity to play in Club Competitions and represent the club in team events. Junior Members have full access to the golf course and practice facilities in a safe, friendly Club environment. PRACTICE During the school term, Friday afternoon Coaching Clinics for Junior Members start at 5pm and finish at 6pm. All Junior Members are entitled to play at the Terrey Hills Par 3 course free of charge. LESSONS We encourage Junior Members to regularly attend Professional Coaching Clinics and private golf lessons to assist in skill development. It Includes unrestricted playing and voting rights with the ability to play competition 5 days per week. 6 DAY MEMBERSHIP Provides members with unrestricted playing rights every day excluding Saturday. This membership category includes unrestricted voting rights and the ability to play competition 4 days per week. FLEXI GOLF MEMBERSHIP Bayview Golf Club offers 3 levels of Flexi Golf Membership. Each level includes credits which are exchanged for social and competition play 7 days a week. Additional credits may be purchased. Any credits remaining from the original package at the end of the year will be forfeited. However, any additional credits purchased can be carried over into the following year. Flexi Golf Members receive a handicap and are affiliated with Golf Australia. This type of Membership does not permit play in Club Championships, Board events or representative teams. SOCIAL PLAY COMPETITION PLAY 11 Holes Mid Week 1 Credit Monday 3 Credits 5 DAY MEMBERSHIP Provides members with unrestricted playing rights 18 Holes Mid Week 2 Credits Tuesday 4 Credits Monday to Friday. This membership category includes 11 Holes Weekend 2 Credits Wednesday & Thursday 6 Credits restricted voting rights and the ability to play competition 3 days per week. 18 Holes Weekend 3 Credits Saturday & Sunday 6 Credits 3 DAY MEMBERSHIP Provides members with unrestricted playing rights Monday, Tuesday & Friday. This membership category includes restricted voting rights and the ability to play competition 2 days per week. Each membership category has access to timesheets 7 days in advance. INTERMEDIATE MEMBERSHIP A range of Intermediate Memberships are available at Bayview Golf Club. Intermediate 1 is designed for players between 25 to 30 years and Intermediate 2 for players between 31 to 35 years. Intermediate members have unrestricted playing rights 7 days a week and are entitled to restricted voting rights. COLTS PLAYER MEMBERSHIP Our Colts category is designed for players between 18 and 24 years. Colts have unrestricted playing rights 7 days a week. This membership category includes restricted voting rights.
