1 Canyon Lakes Golf Course 3700 Canyon Lakes Drive, Kennewick, WA Phone November 2006 Men s & Ladies Club Closing Scramble There were 23 teams made up of 69 men and 22 ladies that competed in the 2006 Golf Universe Canyon Lakes Men s & Ladies Club Closing Scramble. $4,714 was paid out in prizes and food. Ken Wade, Dave Jacobs, John Ed Smith and Orjan Blom won the Men s Division with a score of 58. Tye Bjork, Mary Sams, Renai Romesburg and Ann Tice won the Ladies Division with a score of 72 in a chip off on hole #9. There were 235 Canyon Lakes Men s & Ladies Club Members who got into the 2006 Golf Universe Canyon Lakes,000 Hole-In-One Pot. Andy Hunt, Hap Pickrell, Jim Chase, Paul Hart and Ken Busness each shot a hole-in-one during the year and each received.00. The remaining pot of $1, for Men was won by Mike Thurman with the closest to the pin of 4 feet 2 ¾ inches on Hole #12. The remaining pot of $ for the Ladies was won by Pam Williamson with the closest to the pin of 4 feet 6 inches on Hole #12. All members of the hole-in-one Ken Wade Dave Jacobs pot that shot a hole-in-one or finished first in the closing scramble got one shot at,000 for a hole-in-one on Hole #9. It was 150 yards plus for the men and 135 yards plus for the ladies. Unfortunately, no one won the,000 Hole-In-One. McCurley Integrity Canyon Lakes 2006 Orange Ball Scramble There were 29 teams or 116 players that competed in the 2006 McCurley Integrity Canyon Lakes Orange Ball Scramble. Sandy Hambrook, Cal Speer, Stuart Burke and Randy Dolven won this scramble with a 6 under score of 138. $5, was paid out in prizes and food. This year the cups were enlarged to 6 inches and the pins were set up in Ball Buster pin placements. We also reduced the minimum combined handicap to 30. These changes were well received and we plan to keep them the same for next year. If we get enough ladies teams, we may set up a separate Ladies Division. Gross Gangsome: Friday through Sunday; 11:30 am on Fridays and 9:00 am on weekends and holidays. Two gross game. Two Net Gangsome: Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 8:30 am. Two net game.
