May is the month that we recognize and thank our Mothers as we celebrate Mother s Day on Sunday, May 14 th. In honor of all of our beautiful moms, we are having our annual Mother s Day Brunch with two seatings at 11:00 am and 1:15 pm. And we have arranged for complimentary valet parking for this special event. Please call the club early to ensure a table is reserved for your family on this special day. For all those young adults that are graduating, please keep your club in mind for graduation parties. We are quickly filling up, so let us know how we can help you celebrate this milestone in your family s life. Please contact MaryEllen Ford, Event Coordinator/Member Relations Director to book your next special event. Pool season kicks off on Memorial Day weekend. Jon Carlson, our Head Lifeguard and Swim Coach, is returning again this year. Please contact Jon at (817) or by at Carlson.JonathanDouglas@gmail.com to sign up for swim team or private lessons. On Memorial Day, we will be celebrating with DJ Ray from 12:00 5:00pm, BBQ buffet from 11:00 3:00 pm and games beginning at 1:00 pm. The pool gates will open at 11:00 am. In fairness to all members wanting to enjoy the pool during Memorial Day, no entry will be allowed to reserve seating prior to 11:00am. Not only do we have a summer filled with pool parties, but also summer camps beginning right after Memorial Day. We are offering a variety of camps including golf, tennis or recreational camps that offer both golf and tennis. Contact the golf shop for golf camps and the tennis shop for the tennis or recreational camps. These camps are great for kids wanting to advance their skill levels in golf or tennis or learn basic fundamentals. Our annual member survey has been completed with a record number of 294 member responses. We appreciate those members who completed the survey, as the feedback is valuable for our staff to better serve you. The overall results are positive as we continue to improve our level of services and products. The past four years of our member survey results are posted on the website for your review. To sign up please call Matt at Women s Summer Play Days ( Starts 5/30) All play days are from 9:00-10:30 a.m. rotating leagues, indoors and will run for 10 days. Tuesdays ( ) Scott & Thursdays ( ) Colin Men s Member/ Guest Tournament On Saturday, May 13 from 8:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Format will be Round Robin Fixed Partner. Continental Breakfast and beverages will be provided. Cost will be $30.00 per team. Please RSVP in the Tennis Shop by Wednesday, May 10. Adult Tennis Mixer Friday, May 26 from 6:00 10:00 p.m. Tournament will be Round Robin format of men s doubles, ladies doubles and mixed doubles. Burgers and all the fixings will be provided!
