2 6 th Annual Waadookodaading Golf Benefit Waadookodaading Ojibwe Language Immersion School is the educational arm of Waadookodaading Ojibwe Language Institute. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 supported by the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal Governing Board, private foundation grants, Waadookodaading Ojibwe Language Institute, U.S. Government Grants, and gracious donations from individual sponsors. Waadookodaading is dedicated to offering world class education while also teaching the Ojibwe language. Over the years we have received many prestigious grants and awards, and have built an international reputation for educational excellence. We would like you to partner with us by participating in this year s 6 th annual golf tournament, which will take place August 25 th, 2018 at the Pete Dye designed, award winning Big Fish Golf Club adjacent to the Sevenwinds Casino, Lodge and Conference Center located in Hayward, Wisconsin. All proceeds will go to benefit Waadookodaading and its outdoor activities. Over the past five years this tournament has raised nearly $50,000. With your support, this will be another successful event. Our well-rounded outdoor curriculum consists of wild rice harvest, trapping camp, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, archery, outdoor survival skills, maple sugar harvest, gardening and much more to be developed and/or enhance our current curriculum. 5 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Saturday, August 25, Tournament & Awards Banquet Registration at 9:00 AM All golfers must register upon arrival. Any changes in teams must be provided at the registration table as well as the clubhouse. Driving range will be available the morning of tournament for participants. Lunch will be available at the turn at Mulligans Pub (lunch tickets needed to redeem your lunch) Shotgun start at 10:00 AM Four person, 18 hole scramble (two teams on each hole play together) Limited to 36 teams SCORING FORMAT: All teams will be placed in a flight after the tournament based upon the final score. There will be three flights with a full field.
