Buffs4Life Board of Directors: Dear Buffs4Life Supporter, Since we launched in 2005, we ve provided a support system to help ensure no University of Colorado alumni athlete suffers medical or financial hardship alone. Plain and simple, we are: Buffs Helping Buffs. In 2018, we ve added an initiative to our mission to educate alumni athletes about mental health and suicide prevention. We ve lost too many Buffs, and we are embarking on resources and relationships to allow our team to say, never again. As such, we ve adopted the hash tag #NeverAgainB4L. To support this vision, we re announcing the upcoming 2018 Buffs4life Family Weekend to focus on what s really important for our future and to respond to our evolving community. We believe this program takes important steps to expanding the legacy of the foundation, expand our resources for those in need, and welcomes a new generation of Buff alumni and their families. We actively seek to extend our partnership alliances and ask for your continued commitment to our foundation s mission, vision and strategic goals. 3 Buffs4Life. Once a Buff, Always a Buff! Mission Statement: We provide a support system ensuring no University of Colorado alumni athlete or coach shall suffer any medical or financial hardship alone. Vision Statement: BUFFS HELPING BUFFS! The Buffs4Life Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, focuses our outreach in these primary areas: Annual Alumni Family Weekend: Supports former athletes in need while promoting generational ties between former student-athletes and the community at large. CU Alumni: Our support and partnership with all University of Colorado alumni to reinforce our network of giving. Mental Health Resource Initiatives: Outreach and partnership with community leaders to create resources for alumni athletes and coaches.

4 Who we have helped! The Buffs4Life Foundation has raised over $750,000 in the past thirteen years. During that time, we have helped and supported more than 40 fellow Buffs and their families.
