2 2 Pennant Finalists = 2 Pennant Wins on April 29 th The Handicap Section 2 match against Beechworth was played in great spirit and every match was close. Thanks to the staff who prepared the course, ladies for lunch, volunteers who worked around the course. Congrats to juniors for going back to back. Thank you Monday Vets Report Monday Vets have been very well attended over the past few weeks with an average of 40 players having a game. Fourteen players visited Wangaratta Golf Club for their NE Vets Day with Mick Tanner the only player to excel. Beechworth is next on the 28 th May so those who like sandscrapes put your name down. We will have a very busy year with our NE Vets Day on Monday 27 th August. Also the Victorian Vets Teams event will be held at Jubilee on September 17 th and 18th with approximately 100 players here both days. Here is come prior warning. You can look forward to an increase before the end of the year.

7 Monthly Dinner & Games Night What a great fun night at JGC. Over 50 members, family and friends enjoyed a fillet steak, salads and sweets, wine and fun games. Thanks Kerl, Melody, Gordon Ramsey and his apprentices (Barry and Russell) and all others who made it happen. -Alan Secondary School Golf Competition. Alex Reeves, Angus Webb and Rhys Rigoni recently participated in the Secondary School Golf Competition held at Myrtleford Golf Club. Alex competed in the Senior Section (Years 10, 11 & 12) and shot 39 off the stick (9holes) to come second and qualify for the State Final which was held at Metropolitan Golf Club on Friday 18 th May Angus and Rhys also qualified for the State Final in the Junior Section (Years 7, 8 & 9) and played at Gardner s Run on Friday 25 th May. We wished Rhys (Galen Secondary College) and Angus (Cathedral College) all the best for their matches.
