The weekend s activities begin with a spectacular Hangar Party hosted by the dupont Registry. This year s event will revolve around the centennial of the Indianapolis 500 with an exhibit of Indy cars and memorabilia. The evening will also feature a display of exotic cars, custom motorcycles, extravagant boats, private jets, vintage aircraft, and luxury motorcoaches. Guests will also enjoy what has become a dupont Registry Live tradition as they taste a selection of the world s finest cuisines presented by the areas most prestigious restaurants. The evening will also feature a wine tasting, cocktails, plus the opportunity to mingle with the Who s Who of both business and entertainment. Wayne Huizenga, founder of AutoNation, and The Lee Iacocca Award to Jay Leno for his dedication to the preservation of classic cars. Plus, in honor of the 100th Anniversary of the Indianapolis 500, Donald Davidson, the official historian of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, will present The Legends of Indy Awards to Bobby Unser, Al Unser Sr., Al Unser Jr., A.J. Foyt, Rick Mears, Helio Castroneves, Roger Penske, Honda, and Firestone. Also, each year during the live auction, guests have the opportunity to own the very first of some of the world s very first all new exotic and luxury cars. The occasion, to compete in what has become one of the world s leading Concours d Elegances. Join Jay Leno and thousands of enthusiasts as an expert panel judges some of the finest automobiles and motorcycles ever engineered. We are also honored to have Jay himself present the Jay Leno Big Dog Garage Award to the show entry of his choice. A variety of manufacturers will be on exhibit, including vintage, antique, and exotic. Plus, guests will enjoy delicious foods, wines and beers from a variety of South Florida s finest restaurants at the Concours d Gourmet venue.
