NEXT CUPPA AND CHATWILL BE HELD ON THE 15 August 2018.

3 THE PRESIDENTS UPDATE The July meeting was the first of our new look meetings. It was very well attended. A lot was achieved and everyone enjoyed the sandwiches and goodies on offer before the meeting. Thank you Janell. Organisation for the Cranky Handle Rally is going well. Set up day is Friday 17 th August 2018 with the club providing lunch for those that help. The short Tractor Treks are set for 8am start each day and if enough people are interested we may do a longer trek on the Friday. Entertainment for the Rally Dinner has been booked along with an auction of donated items is planned. Rally Dinner tickets are selling well. Peter Geering and I will be looking for people to help clean the toilets or to help with cooking the BBQs throughout the weekend, so if you have not been to a Cranky Handle Rally at Richmond Vale why not come along and support our club and meet other club members from visiting clubs The club visit to the Denman Men s Shed and museum followed by a visit to Jeff Wolfgang s place last weekend was well attended and a great success. Thank you to Jeff Wolfgang and Peter and Judy Draper for organising the day and for providing lunch. Planning for the Gilgandra Club weekend has been completed with a group of our club members joining them for a visit to the Forbes district to view many different collections followed by a visit to the Dubbo Truck Show on the way home. Thank you to Reg Sweeneny and Wayne Stuart for organising this event. Remember it s our turn to host this event next year. Finally thanks to Bill Burg and the friends of Tocal for inviting our club to be part of Peek into the Past at Tocal Homestead. This event is always well attended by members and everyone enjoys themselves. So as you can see there is a lot happening for our club over the next couple of months. Try and be part of it.
