2 Editor s Report Nothing much to report on here at the moment. President s Report The dozer has pushed in our khanacross tracks and the Motorkhana pad. We need to have a working bee to clear any stumps and branches. So if you re free on Sunday the 28 February, please come up to Charters Towers and give a hand. We will be having a come and try day on the 5th & 6th March for the Charters Towers locals and for us to try out our new block. We are planning to have a static display Saturday and a Khanacross on Sunday The Townsville come and try will be held on the 19th & 20th March. It s planned to have a static display at the clubhouse Saturday then a Motorkhana on Sunday at Talbot Park. The club needs everyone s support for both events to succeed. Please don t leave it to a couple of people to do the work. This is my last magazine as president. I have health issues I need to address as I have ignored them for too long. I will not be walking away from the club. I will be conducting Cardwell rally and a rallysprint at Charters Towers as promised. I still want to compete in club events. I hope the club continues to grow as we have two areas where we can race now.

3 GENERAL MEETING 08/02/2016 Start: 7.40pm PRESENT: Greg Wright, Paul, Heckler, Kerry, Stumpy, Brucie, Gavin, Pete, Wade & Wendy. APOLOGY: Nil MINUTES from previous meeting read. There was no business arising from the previous minutes. Seconded by Paul. All in favour. Passed. TREASURER REPORT: Stumpy gave a summary of the account and handed out a balance sheet for everyone to see. EDITOR: Nil SOCIAL DIRECTOR: Nil PRESIDENT: In general business. GENERAL BUSINESS NQ KHANACROSS: Heckler advised that we were in the NQ Khanacross Series and our event will be held on the 23rd & 24th of July. AGM: Everybody was reminded that all nomination forms have to be given or sent to the secretary one week before the AGM to be legal. There are a couple of people not standing again. The club was advised that the AGM was on the same day as the council elections, should it be moved. It was decided to leave it where it is. There will be the AGM followed by the General Meeting for the month. TRACTOR: Paul advised that he can get the oil needed to fill the gear box of the tractor, just let him know when it is needed. Paul also enquired about the plaque that was going to be presented to JAG for their sponsorship of the last hillclimb. HILLCLIMB: Kerry advised that there are no double ups this year with the Marque Club, also the police have asked for a bit more information before issuing the permits. He also advised that he will require some new faces on the hill as some people are not coming back. MOTION: The club adopt a new draft constitution, that brings it up to date. Moved: Greg Wright Seconded: Kerry Cobbing. All in favour. MOTION: The club purchase a new or second hand terra trip for the club car as the old one don t go no more. Moved: Heckler Second: Wade. All were in favour Heckler: On closing the meeting Heckler advised all that he would not be standing for President at the AGM and thanked all who had helped and supported him for the last couple of years. Last year saw drivers compete in four events from Cairns to the Whitsundays for the chance to win the 2015 championship plus compete in their set class standings. This year will again consist of 4 rounds from the Whitsundays to Mossman!
