IN THE WIND ARGUBRIGHT, EDDY JR. TOP BITD VEGAS TO RENO Not long after crossing the finish line, Jacob Argubright headed straight to the hospital where he needed a number of stitches to close the wound on his horribly gashed arm. It wasn t the way he expected to end up after winning the 22nd General Tire Vegas to Reno, Presented by Fox, in Nevada, August 17, with teammate Max Eddy Jr., but he savored the victory nonetheless, something the Chidester Transport Racing Yamaha rider has chased for three years while Eddy s sought it for 15. Third time s the charm, Argubright quipped. First to the finish, however, was the Cooper Motorsports 747 entry of Brody Honea, who partnered with Vegas-to-Reno first-timers P38 Ross Neely and Justin Wallis, team regular Tallon Taylor having to sit out due to injury. First off the line in Beatty at 5:45 A.M., they d battled back and forth with Argubright/Eddy as well as the last-minute entry of Chris Brown/ Shane Esposito, ending up second on corrected time, though that was sufficient to clinch the series championship.
VOL. 55 ISSUE 33 AUGUST 21, 2018 P39 (Above) Ross Neely (pictured) along with teammates Brody Honea and Justin Wallis clinched the series championship. (Left) Max Eddy Jr. (pictured) partnered with Jacob Argubright and came away with the win at Best In The Desert s Vegas To Reno. PHOTOGRAPHY BY MARK KARIYA Argubright/Eddy s unofficial finishing time for the 530 miles was eight hours, 36 minutes and 16.3 seconds with a five-minute speed zone penalty leaving the Honea/Neely/Wallis team at 8:43:06.9. Brown/Esposito came from starting last Open Pro to unofficially lead on adjusted time at one point, ultimately settling for third in 8:45:19.4. The fourth and final round of Best in the Desert s American Off-road Racing Series drew a record number of entries and saw excellent battles throughout the field. Storms the night before left parts of the course unusually soaked. From the start, Honea/Neely/ Wallis tried to break away and appeared to be doing so on their Monarch Honda/Summit Funding/Fly Racing CRF450RX. Definitely getting the draw for first [off the line] was a big help in finishing as well as we did, Honea admitted. We had about a five-minute lead when Justin gave it to Ross [but] they were coming, definitely! When Ross gave the bike to me after his section, we had a threeminute gap [over second], but that means they caught us on [adjusted] time, but we were still trying to get them physically. Fourth off the line on N12 with Eddy starting aboard the Kenda/ TBT Racing/FMF-sponsored YZ450FX, Argubright revealed that a clogged fuel line cost them a little extra time at the second pit after Eddy brought it in holding second place, unofficially. But they found themselves behind the N45 of Brown/Esposito. Shane Esposito started last [in class] and caught us. I don t know how he did that! Argubright exclaimed. When I was [waiting for] the bike at pit eight, [Max] came in and then Shane came in maybe 20 seconds after him, then the Monarch team. It was really close! Argubright took it to pit 11, where his crew gave the bike a new rear tire and brake pads items they figured they d need at some point with Argubright able to regain a couple minutes but still second on time. But after Eddy took another stint from 11 to 13, they regretted not putting on a new front tire as well. We thought it would last, and it did, but it was so worn down,
IN THE WIND Argubright noted. When I got to pit 14 (the final one), the last 30 miles the Monarch team had actually caught back up to us because I had no front tire. It was kind of dumb on my part to not change it. I knew the Monarch team had started four minutes in front of us. Even if I wasn t the first bike [to the finish], I just had to be somewhat close. And in the process, I slid out less than five miles from the finish [in one of the rockiest sections of the course] and I freaking ground my arm down and they ended up putting in five inner stitches and five outer stitches [in the resulting hole]. After a rear-wheel swap at pit nine, Wallis got back on behind both the Argubright/Eddy and Brown/Esposito machines, passing Brown on his Bremen Racing/Precision Concepts/ O Neal Racing-backed CRF450X for second before too long. By the time [Justin] got it back to Ross, Jacob was having some problems with his bike and we made up some time with them about 30 seconds and Argubright slid out on his arm [a few miles from the finish] and Ross slid out, too, coming over Como back into Dayton. Ross was able to make the pass coming down Como to finish physically first, but they P40 still got us on time. It was a super-close Vegas-to- Reno and super-fun. More important, though, was it sealed the series championship for the Cooper Motorsports 747 squad with its first V-R podium, having compiled a record of I thought we d have it a little easier, but Shane was just on it so was the Monarch team, Argubright exclaimed. At one point, I was like, There s no way we re going to do it, when Shane was, like, seven minutes in front of us [on adjusted time]. Mark Kariya Kevin Daniels soloed to win Ironman Expert by nearly half an hour with his unofficial time of 10:47:59.7, giving him 27th overall among all bikes and quads.
ROUND 11 / AUGUST 18, 2018 BUDDS CREEK, MARYLAND / BUDDS CREEK RACEWAY MOTOCROSS LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS P58 iii My Own Race: 1 ELI TOMAC 1ST 450MX (3-1) Winning the championship is the ultimate goal, and today we were able to add some more points to put us in the best possible position going into the final round next weekend, said 450MX winner Eli Tomac. In moto one, I struggled a little bit making my way through traffic, but in moto two, I was just feeling it, and after I got around a couple guys, I knew I could catch the leader and win. I am pumped I was able to do that! 30 MITCHELL HARRISON 4TH 250MX (4-5) Mitchell Harrison nearly got himself his second AMA National podium in a row at Budds Creek, which would ve been truly significant considering his career-first was a week earlier at Unadilla. He was running third with one lap to go in the second moto but lost spots to Justin Cooper and Alex Martin, ending up fifth in the moto for fourth overall. Overall it was a good day, Harrison said. I rode great in the motos and went 4-5. I proved to myself that I can stay up front in dry conditions. 21 JASON ANDERSON 12TH 450MX (4-DNS) Jason Anderson returned to action at Budds Creek, qualifying third before grabbing a solid fourth in the opening moto. He sat out the second moto as a precaution in the heat, having not raced for most of the summer. I had a decent weekend, Anderson said. I was able to qualify third and get fourth in the first moto. I didn t want to get super winded or take too many chances for the second moto, and just wanted to ease myself into it. I ll get back out there next weekend and will see if I can do two solid motos. He ll return to action next weekend in Indiana. 4 BLAKE BAGGETT 4TH 450MX (5-2) At Budds Creek, Blake Baggett was looking like the title contender he was in Baggett wasn t too hot off the start in either moto, but he was the only racer on the track to get his lap times into the 2:06s in both motos. And in the second moto, he did it with two laps to go as he tried to chase down Eli Tomac. He said he was just looking to find comfort on his motorcycle. It was lost away like a sunken ship, Baggett said. I had to dig for it and find the treasure box again! We re working hard and we re focusing on hitting supercross hard next year, but we wanted to make sure we hit these last two rounds strong. I faded a little bit in the middle of that moto, but I came on at the end, so we ll just keep plugging away and try to get a win in here. 25 MARVIN MUSQUIN 3RD 450MX (2-4) Marvin Musquin had a big crash during the week prior to the Budds Creek race and he was up front in both motos, but could only manage a 2-4 on the day. Today I had great starts the first moto I gave up the lead on the first lap and I just couldn t get it back, Musquin said. I was fighting for it all the way until the last two laps. It was close but I couldn t get it. In the second moto, I was up there and it was good, but unfortunately towards the end, physically, it was really tough and I could only get fourth in that moto and third overall for the day. One more round to go, I am looking forward to fighting hard. 36 RJ HAMPSHIRE 1ST 250MX (2-1) It was awesome, said RJ Hampshire of his first career win. We just haven t been able to put two motos together. It s not because of myself, actually. I d put a good moto in and I d almost get killed the next moto I d get taken down off the start, someone would land on me, whatever. Chase and I went 1-2 today, and that s a big boost for our team. They ve been working hard to improve the bike, and it showed today.
ROUND 11 / AUGUST 18, 2018 BUDDS CREEK, MARYLAND / BUDDS CREEK RACEWAY MOTOCROSS LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS P66 ship rival, Alex Martin (TLD/ (Above) RJ Hampshire was Red Bull KTM). thrilled to nab his But rather than back first AMA 250MX in to a championship, on National win, and a day with a heat index so was his Geico Honda Team that hovering near 100 degrees, went 1-2 on the day. Plessinger grabbed the (Right) Hampshire holeshot in moto one and (36) and his teammate Chase took off. Sexton celebrate Plessinger led every lap their 1-2 finishes. over RJ Hampshire (Geico Honda), eventually winning the moto with almost seven seconds to spare over Hampshire and Austin Forkner (Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki), who held off Mitchell Harrison (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna) for third at the finish. Plessinger s teammate Dylan Ferrandis came through the pack for fifth after starting in the middle of the field, just in front
ROUND 11 / AUGUST 18, 2018 BUDDS CREEK, MARYLAND / BUDDS CREEK RACEWAY MOTOCROSS LUCAS OIL AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIPS P68 Plessinger realized that his dream of winning the 250MX Championship just became a reality. of Jordon Smith, Chase Sexton, Michael Mosiman, Shane McElrath and then Martin. With that, the title chase was over. Plessinger s points lead was insurmountable, and he would be officially crowned the MX National Champion by the end of the day. Seemingly with the pressure off, Plessinger snatched another holeshot in moto two, but Hampshire began pressuring him for the lead a few laps in, then made the pass on lap five while Plessinger seemed to begin to struggle. He fell back to fourth the next lap, then crashed and remounted at the tail end of the top 10. In the waning laps, he was passed by teammate Ferrandis, who was down in the first turn in moto two along with Smith and Cameron McAdoo and ended up 11th in the moto. Hampshire held strong up front to win his first-ever AMA Pro National event, winning the moto by about four seconds over teammate Sexton, with room to spare over Justin Cooper (Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha), Martin, Harrison, McElrath, Forkner and the rest of the field. Hampshire took the overall with a 2-1 over teammate Sexton s 7-2 and Plessinger s 1-11, which just edged out Harrison (4-5) for what would ve been his second overall podium in a row. But while the Geico Honda team got to celebrate a 1-2 result within easy driving distance of Geico s headquarters, it was Plessinger who is bringing home the number-one plate to his brand new baby boy, Jake. I m speechless right now, Plessinger said. It s been a heck of a season, from Hangtown, to having a couple bad races, to a couple 1-1s, and before I knew it I was here! I don t even know. It s been great, and I ve had fun, and I think that s what it s all about. I keep a smile on my face even when I m not doing too good, and I keep it light. I have a baby boy to go back to, and my fiancé, and I m living a dream life right now. I don t think it could get any better right now. CN 450MX 1. 8 ROUND 14 / AUGUST 18, 2018 PEORIA RACE PARK / PEORIA, ILLINOIS FLAT TRACK 2018 AMERICAN FLAT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP P70 Oh Henry WILES KEEPS IT ALIVE WITH 14TH CONSECUTIVE PEORIA TT WIN Briar Bauman (14) leads the way at the start of the Peoria TT.
VOL. 55 ISSUE 33 AUGUST 21, 2018 P71 BY DAVE HOENIG PHOTOGRAPHY BY FLAT TRAK FOTOS In so many ways it was not the typical Peoria TT, other than the oppressive humidity and the race winner. American Flat Track came to the beautiful Peoria Motorcycle Club s Race Park only to find the half-mile TT course a sea of mud, after heavy rains on Thursday night. The Peoria Motorcycle Club and AFT, with great help from Caterpillar Inc., were able to get the track race ready for the 14th race of Not to disappoint his legion of fans, Henry Wiles (Bandit Industries/Wilco Racing/Willy Built, Kawasaki Ninja 650) again proved why he is known in these parts as King Henry. He worked his way to the front of the 25- lap AFT Twins main and captured his 14th Peoria TT in a row. It certainly was not an easy task, as Wiles was forced to overcome a poor start and work his way to the front. I obviously didn t get the start. I think I was in fourth, said Wiles. I was able to make some passes quickly. It was interesting, I did some things that I hadn t done all day, probably have never done, but felt like I needed to do. I did them and it worked out well. Briar Bauman (Zanotti Racing/Roof Systems/Western Powersports, Indian Scout FTR750) led the 18-rider field into turn one. I got a good start, said Bauman. Almost too good of a start, I was freaking out. Bauman held about a bike-length lead over Jake Johnson (Estenson Racing/McCandless Truck Center, Indian Scout FTR750), Mick Kirkness (Harley-Davidson of Salina/ Young Henry s Brewing, Harley-David-
ROUND 14 / AUGUST 18, 2018 PEORIA RACE PARK / PEORIA, ILLINOIS FLAT TRACK 2018 AMERICAN FLAT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP P72 iii My Own Race: 17 HENRY WILES 1ST PLACE AFT TWINS I was able to get into second quick, then I was able to take my time a little bit, said Wiles. I knew Briar had a good pace. I got by him in three and four. He was able to come back by me going into one and I was able to get back under him again. After that I didn t see him. I just made sure I rode a good, strong race. There were a couple lappers, I don t know if they know what the blue flag means, or they don t care. Either way we got around them. The closing speed on some of these guys is unreal, especially late in the race. You are trying to get around them clean. I knew the start was going to be key. Fortunately, I was able to get those passes done quick. That was something that I was worried about. Briar was flying, I knew that he was the guy that I was going to have to beat. Everything worked out for me after the start. 14 BRIAR BAUMAN 2ND PLACE AFT TWINS I got the holeshot and I led seven or eight laps. I was just waiting and wondering where he (Wiles) was at, said Bauman. He finally caught up to me. I rode wide in the last corner and he just rolled underneath me. I was thinking I had a good run and should charge on him in one, maybe shake him up. I thought I did that, but he went back by me and checked out. I know how quick he is here. I went underneath and thought about doing something cool, but then he came back down. I figured I needed to conserve and follow and maybe he would make a mistake. In my conserving, he put a gap on me. There was some serious lapped traffic. I know Henry was pretty upset, but he needs to understand that everybody is racing. There are so many tight spots, it makes it hard to move. A lot of the guys I got to hadn t seen the blue flag yet. Lapped traffic played a big role. I could have been closer and made something happen, but you just move through them. He is hard to beat, he has won here 14 times. He knows what to do. His head is so big that when he lines up here, he has already chalked it up as a win. That s a good thing to have. 5 JAKE JOHNSON 3RD PLACE AFT TWINS You could almost see the story all day: Henry was fast, Briar was a little bit off, I was a little bit off and it was tight after that. I just didn t have the pace that those guys had, said Johnson. I saw Henry miss a shift on the starting line. I thought, Well if anybody has a shot this is it. Briar got the holeshot and I was able to hang there for a lap or two. He was just slowly inching away. Sure enough, here came Henry. He got by me and took off and went after Briar. I had a healthy gap back to fourth. I went into don t crash and don t mess up mode. That allowed Jared to reel me in at the end of the race. He was just inching up, getting closer. I think he was a little bit in championship mode. I m sure he wanted to win this race, but he didn t have to. I m sure he wasn t 100% Jared today. He smelled blood in the water. He hasn t been off the podium here in a long time. I m sure he was hungry for it. I saw the five-to-go and just put in a charge. I did what I could to keep him behind me. I m not sure how close he got but I was able to keep him behind me. I m always disappointed when I leave Peoria. I have finished on the podium a lot here, but I could never see Henry when it s over. It s bittersweet. It s great to be on the podium, but I just got whooped. 1 JARED MEES 4TH PLACE AFT TWINS It was a tough day, tough race. I got an okay start. On the first corner someone got into the side of me and drifted me wide, said Mees. I got back by Hayden Gillim. I was railing in Jake well and the lappers just killed me bad. They didn t have a blue flag or warning. I was tracking Jake down fast but couldn t get to him. I rode hard; I rode harder to get fourth place today than I have some of the wins this year. It is what it is. It was a good day and [I] stayed safe. I ll get out of here and go to Springfield. They did an amazing job here today on the racetrack. Hats off to them that we got this in today and everyone got out in one piece. 169 HAYDEN GILLIM 5TH PLACE AFT TWINS My first twins ride at Peoria was a rodeo. On the first lap of practice I almost went off on the jump, on both jumps, said Gillim. My foot slipped off on the way up and it was kind of game over from there, but I was able to save it. I had good speed all day. I need to figure out how to put a full 25-lap main event together. I was running fourth in the main. I caught Jake a little bit, then I had another big moment off the jump. At that point I was just thinking, just relax. I looked back and Jared was right there but there was a big gap back to sixth. I figured if Jared got by me I would ease up. Sure enough, two laps later, he ended up going by me on the front straight. I thought, all right, that s my race. I m going to relax and bring it home fifth. Top five on the Peoria TT, first time in the Twins class, I m happy with that.
ROUND 14 / AUGUST 18, 2018 PEORIA RACE PARK / PEORIA, ILLINOIS FLAT TRACK 2018 AMERICAN FLAT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP P74 Henry Wiles (17) sets out for leader Bauman after getting around Hayden Gillim (169) and Jared Mees (1). Wiles struck right back, and just as it has been for every year since 2004, the race was virtually over. By the halfway point, the leaders were in lapped traffic and Wiles lead grew to over three seconds. Johnson was a solid third with Mees in pursuit after getting back by Gillim. Sammy Halbert (Harley-Davidson Motor Company/Vance & Hines Harley- Davidson XG750R) was moving up also taking sixth from Pearson. Jarod Vanderkooi (Harley-Davidson Motor Company/Vance & Hines, Harley-Davidson XG750R), Bronson Bauman (Indian Motorcycle/Howerton Motorsports, Indian FTR750) and Kirkness held the top-10 positions. For the most part, the final orson XR750) and Jared Mees (Indian Motorcycle/Rogers Racing, Indian Scout FTR750) with Wiles buried on the inside. Kirkness drifted wide allowing Hayden Gillim (Indian Motorcycle/ Cycle World/S&S Cycle, Indian Scout FTR750) and Rob Pearson (RJ Performance/Hite Trucking, Indian Scout FTR750) to slip by and up front Wiles was quickly moved to third behind Bauman and Johnson. Lap two saw Gillim muscle his way into fourth as Wiles took second and stalked Bauman for the lead. On lap eight, Wiles finally made his move in the last turn, but Bauman wasn t going to go away easily and re-passed in turn one, but it was short lived. der was set as the leaders worked through traffic. Wiles finished with just over a four-second lead on Bauman with Johnson another four seconds back. Mees could only close to one second behind Johnson and missed the podium for the first time this year. Gillim was another 10 seconds back, well ahead of Bronson Bauman. Vanderkooi and Pearson were the only riders left on the lead lap. Davis Fisher (Double D Performance/Bob Lanphere Beaverton Motorcycles, Indian Scout FTR750) and Kirkness led the lap-down riders to ninth and 10th place, respectively. Halbert, meanwhile, saw all of his hard work go to waste when his chain broke.
ROUND 14 / AUGUST 18, 2018 PEORIA RACE PARK / PEORIA, ILLINOIS FLAT TRACK 2018 AMERICAN FLAT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP P76 Once Wiles got around Bauman, that was all she wrote, as he rode off to his 14th consecutive win at the Peoria TT. Never a dull moment at the Peoria TT! Halbert said. My team and I were in sync and pushing hard, but popping a chain with five to go is a tough pill to swallow. Regardless, we are taking it in stride and already planning our strategy for Peoria 2019! Jesse Janisch (132) won the Singles main. AFT SINGLES Ryan Wells (Honda/Al Lamb Dallas Honda, Honda CRF450R) got the holeshot of the 15-lap AFT Singles main event with Cole Frederickson (Vince & Denise Holt/Ride Motorsports, Honda CRF450R), Jesse Janisch (Roof Systems of Dallas/West Bend Harley- Davidson, Yamaha YZ450F), Jacob Lehmann (Vince & Denise Holt/Ride Motorsports, Honda CRF450R) and Kolby Carlile (Estenson Racing/McCandless Trucking Center, Yamaha YZ450F) right behind. Wells led the first two laps with Frederickson and Janisch all over him. Entering turn one on lap three, Wells stubbed his toe and went wide. He was able to save it, but dropped to third. Frederickson then took over, but Janisch was a man on a mission and took control on lap five. Once clear, Janisch pulled to a convincing win for his fallen friend Alec Muth, who
VOL. 55 ISSUE 33 AUGUST 21, 2018 P77 succumbed to his injuries from the Black Hills Half Mile. It s an honor to win Peoria, especially an honor to win for Alec, said Janisch who carried Muth s number-196 plate on his victory lap. As Janisch pulled away, Wells was working his way back to Frederickson. On lap thirteen Wells took second, but Janisch was well ahead by then. It was awesome, said Janisch. Wells had the lead and Cole was second. I found a good line in turn one. I was just kind of waiting when Wells hit a big hole. Cole got underneath him, and I knew I needed to make a move on Wells right away. I sat behind Cole for Briefly... REMEMBERING MUTH All of the racers and fans came into the Peoria TT with heavy hearts after learning that Alec Muth, a full-time fireman from Black River Falls, Wisconsin, had succumbed to his injuries that he suffered at the Black Hills Half Mile in Rapid City, South Dakota, August 7. Muth was transported to the Rapid City Regional Hospital where he was treated but passed away August 16. Alec was a popular guy in the paddock and had a lot of friends in the flat track community, said Michael Lock, CEO of AMA Pro Racing. He scored his first points in AFT this year and recorded a very impressive top-10 finish at the OKC Mile in June. It is extremely sad that his journey through life has been cut so short and our thoughts are with his family at this time. JUST IN CASE Since 1947 the Peoria TT has always been held on Sunday, but this year it was changed to Saturday to allow for a Rain Date. After heavy rains dumped well over an inch of rain into Thunder Valley it looked like that day would be needed in its first year. The track was a mess, but fortunately, one of the race sponsors is Caterpillar. The heavy equipment company sent their best machines and operators to the track early Saturday morning. They were able to provide a very raceable track before the day was over. The schedule had to be pushed back and altered, but the event was over with about an hour to spare before dark at the lightless track. BANGED UP AFT Singles riders, Austin Luczak and Matt Guenther got tangled up on the first jump during qualifying. Both were transported to the hospital for evaluation. Both expect to be released soon. WILES HOUSE Just how dominant has Henry Wiles been at the PMC Race Park? In 2003, Wiles rode in his first Peoria TT GNC main. He finished seventh behind JR Schnabel, Chris Carr, Johnny Murphree, Jake Johnson, Bryan Smith and Dan Stanley. They are the last riders to finish in front of him at Peoria. In 2004, he started his winning streak that only Mother Nature stopped in STREAK KILLER One streak that came to an end was Jared Mees podium finishes. The last time Mees was not on the podium was September 4, TT STREAK Somewhat surprisingly, only two riders have qualified for every AFT Twins main event this year: Jared Mees and Sammy Halbert. With Mees disqualification in Woodstock, Georgia, that leaves Halbert as the only rider to have scored points in every race. Mees points lead, however, is all but insurmountable. He holds a 92-point lead over Henry Wiles, with only 100
ROUND 14 / AUGUST 18, 2018 PEORIA RACE PARK / PEORIA, ILLINOIS FLAT TRACK 2018 AMERICAN FLAT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP Briefly... P78 points left in play. Wiles is the only rider with any chance of beating the defending Grand National Champion. Ryan Wells (94) took second, but he still trails class leader Dan Bromley (sixth at Peoria) in the Singles Championship by 42 points. a while, and I kind of got into him in turns one and two. I made the move and got him over the jump. Then I just tried to put my head down for like two laps. When I looked back, I had a little bit of a gap and tried to relax because it was easy to make mistakes on the track today. Frederickson was able to hold off his traveling buddy, Jacob Lehmann, for his second podium of the year, but was somewhat disappointed with third. I really thought I could win the main. I was in the lead at one point, but eventually fell back to third, said Frederickson. I am very happy with another podium, but that win would have been unbelievable. Ben Lowe (Bruce Lowe Excavating/Lowe Life Performance, Honda CRF450R) finished fifth just behind Lehmann. Current AFT Singles points leader Dan Bromley (KTM North America/ Bromley Motorsports, KTM 450 SX-F) and Tristan Avery (Ron Ayers Racing/Mr. Sign, Honda CRF450R) were a little over four seconds back in sixth and seventh. CONTINUES TO IMPRESS Full-time MotoAmerica road racer Hayden Gillim continues to impress in his rookie year in the AFT Twins class. He made his third straight main event, but is still in a learning mode. The Indian is awesome, said Gillim. It was working well today. I just didn t have anything for those front boys. Twentyfive laps on a twin would be like doing 50 laps on a 450. It s a lot harder and it s a lot more bike. Gillim has one dirt track race left on his schedule. I m looking forward to Springfield. I m looking forward to doing some drafting on the mile with these fellas. It s been so much fun. 5. Ben Lowe (Hon) 6. Dan Bromley (KTM) 7. Tristan Avery (Hon) 8. Jake Fell (Hon) 9.
