3 Scouting Siena Siena returns to the Capital Region to host Central Connecticut in its home opener tonight The Saints are in home openers during the program s Division I era Siena has lost eight of its last nine home openers The last time the Saints won their home opener when it came at the ARC was a victory over Duquesne on Nov. 30, 2004 (lost six straight) Tonight marks the Saints annual STOMP Out Homelessness Game with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless For just $10, fans will receive the Official STOMP T-shirt, admission to the game, a Dog House store coupon, a concession coupon and a special giveaway Siena won its season opener for just the second time in the past 10 seasons Friday at Buffalo It marked the first time since the season that the Saints season opener came on the road The Saints are now all-time in season openers Freshman forward Margot Hetzke had arguably the greatest collegiate debut by a freshman in program history Friday She erupted for a double-double with 29 points -
