3 Scouting Siena Siena hosts its Fifth Annual BlueShield of Northeastern New York Kid s Day Game today Nearly 2,000 children and their teachers from nine Capital Region area schools will be attending The game has drawn an average of 1,712 fans over the previous four years Attending schools are Albany School of Humanities, Brighter Choice School for Girls, Eagle Point Elementary and North Albany Academy from Albany, McNulty Institute from Amsterdam, Van Schaick Grade School from Cohoes and Lincoln Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary and Zoller Middle School from Schenectady The game is part of Siena Athletics BlueShield of Northeastern New York Saints in the Community program. Earlier this month, members from both the men s and women s basketball teams visited several schools preaching the importance of hard work and strong academics while also interacting with students through games and basketball drills. Members from the men's basketball team will be in attendance and also participate in on-court activities administered by BSNENY centered around making healthy choices today and BSNENY will have their Healthy Zone cruiser at the game.
