Bobbi Clemmer was tabbed a preseason all-conference performer for the third straight season. Last season as a freshman, Emma Heckendorn led the Horned Frogs in goal scoring, marking the second straight season that a freshman has led the team in scoring. In 2013, Michelle Prokof paced the team in goal scoring. MISSOURI NOTABLES Missouri is receiving votes in the preseason poll after advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in The Tigers are returning eight starters from a year ago, but have a huge hole to fill in replacing starting goalkeeper McKenzie Sauerwein who played every minute of every game in They will also have to fill the void left by top goal-scorer Taylor Grant. Missouri posted a record at home in ARKANSAS NOTABLES Arkansas is coming off a season in which it advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Razorbacks return 19 letterwinners and eight starters from the 2014 squad. Highlighting the returners are goalkeeper Cameron Carter and leading point-scorer Ashleigh Ellenwood. SERIES HISTORY NOTABLES - MISSOURI Missouri leads the all-time series Two of the three meetings came in Fort Worth. The Tigers handed the Frogs a 2-1 overtime loss on Aug. 29, 2014 in the series last meeting. TCU dropped a 6-2 decision to Missouri in its only visit to Columbia on Sept. 23, SERIES HISTORY NOTABLES - ARKANSAS TCU leads the all-time series against Arkansas 6-1-2, including a mark in Fayetteville. The series dates back to a pair of meetings in TCU won those two meetings by a combined score of TCU won the last meeting 2-1 in double overtime in Fort Worth on Sept. 15, The meeting marked the first between the programs since the 2000 season. Arkansas lone win in the series was a 2-1 victory on Sept. 5, 1997 in Fort Worth.

They join a group of 18 returners that posted an record in The class features athletes from around the world. The group features a pair of kids from Nebraska in Faith Carter and Carsen Lundgren. Justine Rendl hails from California, Kayla Hill from Colorado, McKenzie Oliver from Texas and Liz Stewart from Oregon. Cachet Lue (Canada) and Karitas Tomasdottir (Iceland) are the two international additions. WE GO WAY BACK There is a ton of familiarity on the roster as the ties between players run deep. Faith Carter and Carsen Lundgren were club teammates (Elite Girls) as were Michelle Prokof and Lauren Sajewich (Eclipse). Allison Ganter, Emma Heckendorn and Meghan Murphy all played for Dallas Sting. Justine Rendl and Kate Sasser attended the same high school. Courtney Forte and Makenzie Koch played for the Dallas Texans, while Brittany Little and McKenzie Oliver are products of the Lonestar Soccer Club. A THREE-PEAT For the third straight season since joining the Big 12, the Horned Frog faithful proved they are the best fans in the league. TCU once again took the attendance crown with an average of 1,435 fans per match. The average ranked 11th nationally. TCU was the only school in the Big 12 to have over 10,000 fans pass through the turnstiles this season with a total of 12,916 spectators. Only 18 schools in the NCAA had season totals over 10,000. PRESEASON RESPECT Bobbi Clemmer was honored as a preseason all-conference performer for the third straight season. Each year, she has backed up the preseason recognition by being named to the all-conference squad at the end of the season. Clemmer has started and played in 57 of the 58 games TCU has played over the course of her career. IRON WOMEN Bobbi Clemmer is the only Horned Frog to have played every minute of the season in She played 1,772 minutes in It marked the second time in her career that she has played every minute of the regular season. Junior Meghan Murphy ranked third on the squad with 1,755 minutes of action. She played the entirety of 17 matches, including each of the final 11 games of the season. She came off the field just once on Sept. 14 at Sam Houston State. Sophomore Ryan Williams also moved into iron woman territory, playing every minute of the final 12 matches of the season. She ranked fourth on the squad with 1,702 minutes of play. As a freshman in 2013, Lauren Sajewich held the distinction of playing every minute of every match. She was on the field for all but 22 minutes in A TALE OF TWO HALVES The second half was the best half for the Horned Frogs in Sixteen of TCU s 23 goals on the year came in the second half. Statistically, over half of the Frogs shots, shots on goal and corners came in the second half. On the flip side, the Horned Frogs tightened up after half time and surrendered just seven goals in the final half of the match. CORNER TO CORNER TCU generated 111 corner kicks in 2014, a mark that ranked third in the Big 12. Makenzie Koch took the majority of the corners with 52. Michelle Prokof and Eryn Spencer ranked second and third with 21 and 15, respectively. A new twist in the Frogs final three weeks was Emma Heckendorn being called upon to take corners. Her very first attempt resulted in a goal from Makenzie Koch. She took 10 corners in the last three matches. Bobbi Clemmer contributed with three corners as well. EXTRA, EXTRA After setting a school record with six overtime contests in 2013, the Horned Frogs played in four in 2014 and were in those contests. Under the guidance of Eric Bell, the Horned Frogs are in overtime. In its history, TCU has a record in contests decided in overtime.

The 2014 season showed more signs of growth as the Horned Frogs vaulted to a 7-3 record and an RPI ranking in the top 50. TCU ultimately earned its third straight berth in the Big 12 Championships. Junior Bobbi Clemmer continued to earn respect from the Big 12 community, earning secondteam all-conference accolades. Newcomer Ryan Williams, switching to a different position for the first time in her career, also blossomed under the coaching staff s tutelage. She was named to the Big 12 All-Newcomer squad for her efforts in helping TCU post six shutouts and a 0.96 goals against average. A talented influx of freshman in the fall of 2013 has set the stage for big things to come. Freshman Michelle Prokof paced the team offensively en route to earning secondteam all-conference accolades. Sophomore Bobbi Clemmer earned first-team all-conference accolades. TCU again qualified for the Big 12 Tournament, improving its seeding as the Frogs finished seventh in the standings with two conference wins. In his first season on campus, Bell and company gave Frog fans a glimpse of things to come. His immediate impact was felt on the defensive side of the ball as the Horned Frogs tied the school record with eight shutouts. Freshman defender Bobbi Clemmer earned a spot on the Big 12 All-Newcomer team, playing every minute of the season up until an injury in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championship Tournament in San Antonio. He had the Frogs playing their best soccer at the right time as they blazed a trail to the championship game of the Big 12 Championship Tournament. Qualifying as the eighth-seed in the tourney, Bell s squad upended the Big 12 Conference champions, West Virginia, by a 2-0 score. In the semifinals, it took penalty kicks to decide the team to advance as TCU and Texas battled to a 0-0 score after two overtimes. The defensive star of the tournament, Vittoria ArnoldClick here to hear it, outdueled the Texas goalkeeper and the Frogs advanced to the championship game against Baylor. Prior to coming to TCU, Bell spent the previous six seasons with the Seminoles. After arriving as an assistant coach in 2006, he was promoted to associate head coach in Bell was Florida State s recruiting coordinator his entire tenure in Tallahassee.
