6 Registrar Donna Barabas will be our registrar this year. Bring pedigrees, current ARBA membership card, and $6.00 per rabbit if you want your animals registered. If you can bring a copy of your pedigree for Donna to keep that makes it much easier. Make sure your pedigree is complete, including weights on each animal. Lunch There are a variety of quick and easy luncheon options within driving distance. The show will not have an on sight vendor. Best In Show Judging Best in show judging for A,B, & C shall happen at the end of the day once ALL breed judging has been completed. This is to eliminate any possibilities of unfair advantages and to prevent any overlap of breed and BIS judging. If you re unable to stay for BIS and wish to compete, please arrange to leave your BOB animal(s) with another exhibitor/friend. 8 Show Rules 1. All show held by and in conjunction with CSRA RBA are official ARBA sanctioned shows. All shows shall be governed by the latest rules of the American Rabbit Breeders Association and filing of entries indicate acceptance of these rules. 2. All rabbits and cavies are eligible to compete if they are purebred and have in the left ear a permanent tattoo for rabbits, or an approved metal ear tag for cavies. 3. The CSRA Rabbit Breeders Association will not be held responsible for loss in case of fire, theft, accident, or providential destruction in the showroom. However, every precaution will be taken to insure a safe environment for the exhibitors and the animals. 4. Positively no substitutions will be allowed except in the same breed, variety, sex and class. Only ear number changes will be accepted and all changes must be made by 8:00 AM EST, Saturday. 5. The club reserves the right to substitute, or add judges if need be. Also, club reserves the right to change the judging order. 6. All entry fees must be paid for scratched entries. 7. Any rabbit or cavy showing signs of disease will be removed from the showroom and entry fees forfeited. 8. Any exhibitor indicating ownership of rabbits and/or cavies being exhibited on the judging table, harassing, interfering, or attempting to influence a judge will be disqualified and will forfeit all fees and winnings. 9. All animals must be exhibited in their natural state. Cutting of hair, dyeing, or altering in any way is not permitted. 10. Youth may show in all youth shows. Youth breeds will be called to the table first, followed by the open breed. Youth will need to pay attention to the breed schedule. 11. No smoking will be allowed at any time in the showroom. 9 12. Any unauthorized changes will be considered a disqualification. 13. Parents: For the safety of the animals and our exhibitors, we require that your children be supervised at all times. You will be held responsible for any damages, which occur because of your children s actions. 15. Any ARBA recognized breed can be shown regardless if it is sanctioned or not. 16. Only current ARBA recognized breeds and varieties, or breeds and varieties with a current certificate of development will be allowed to be shown, as per ARBA rules. Please bring a copy of a working standard for the judges. 17. Breeds showing ten or more in each show will be sanctioned by CSRA RBA at their next show rabbits need to show in order to qualify for awards in OPEN. 8 rabbits or more need to show in order to qualify for awards in YOUTH. 19. All changes must be made prior to 7:30 am day of show. Any changes to be made after this time will incur a $.50 fee per rabbit per entry. Double-check your paperwork! 20. As a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association, the CSRA RBA reserves the right to refuse entries from all locations within 150 miles which has a confirmed outbreak of RCD/RHD/VHD within the past 60 days of the entry deadline. 21. ARBA Show Rule YOUTH, SECTION 51: Youth may not enter their rabbit or cavy in both open and youth classes at the same show, which is sponsored by the same club. Youth may make entries in both open and youth classes with different animals. 22. Rabbits and cavies must be in leak proof carrier/cages. 23. No dogs are allowed in the showroom without permission; Working Service Dogs will be admitted. If you see an animal in the building, other than rabbits or cavies, it s best to speak with the superintendent or secretary first. 24. No rabbits under 8 weeks of age will be allowed on the show premises. 25. PLEASE CHECK ALL YOUR PAPERWORK before the show starts each sheet for each show. Exhibitors are responsible for the information that is on the check-in sheets. Errors found, be that exhibitor or secretary responsible, MUST be corrected BEFORE the show starts.
