7 Sternal Strap 3 Sternal Strap is intene to apply pressure to the sternal region of the hest. It is espeially useful in applying Silon-T to troulesome post-sternotomy sars. It is not intene to apply pressure to the any other part of the torso inluing the shoulers or lateral torso. Silon-T lining along the sternum may e onfigure as a poket for the insertion of foam or orthoplasty. Hook & ye Torso garment zippers may e very iffiult to lose for those with little or no han or finger strength. You may onsier requesting two or three hook & eye lathes (the same hook & eye use to lose a rassiere), for example, one at the ottom, one at the mile, an one at the top of a vest zipper to assist these patients. The hook & eye lathes are installe insie the zipper ans so the patient an lose the ottom hook & eye, then negotiate the zipper, then lose the mile hook & eye, an then zip up to that level, an so on. lthough most ommonly requeste for torso garment zippers, hook & eye losures are tehnially feasile for any zipper. Waist Hook & Loop Tas Patients wearing a vest together with a rief or leotar may experiene isomfort when they en an the two garments separate.
