20 Every year on IDDP Day, Ocean Park welcomes over 6,000 members and their families into the Park. 20

21 There are over 7,100 registered charities in Hong Kong. 21

22 Every year, Ocean Park gives thousands of tickets to charities for their fundraising causes. 22

23 Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Hong Kong (OPCFHK) is Ocean Park s conservation arm. It funds many wildlife conservation and scientific research projects in Asia. 23

24 OPCFHK gets its funding from Ocean Park and from its own fundraising activities. 24

25 All our guests helped our conservation efforts as $1 from each ticket sold, and partial proceeds from panda products, Tuxedoes Restaurant, Penguin Encounter and Dolphin Encounter sessions are donated to OPCFHK. 25

26 Over the last two years alone, Ocean Park has already allocated over HK $20 million to OPCFHK. 26

27 There are 1,092 Primary and Secondary Schools in Hong Kong. 27

28 All students can come to Ocean Park on school tours at $70 to $80 each to play and learn ALL DAY. 28

29 Ocean Park Academy (OPA) is dedicated to running educational programs. 29

30 In the past 18 years, over 632,000 students participated in educational programs hosted by OPA. 30

31 Ocean Park also set aside over $5 million to students from disadvantaged backgrounds to take part in some OPA courses. 31

33 Last year, Ocean Park s management committed over 500 man hours sharing the Ocean Park story with students and corporate managers. 33

34 There are over 130,000 diesel vehicles all over Hong Kong, accounting for 21% of total registered vehicles. 34

35 Being environmentally-friendly, 45 of Ocean Park s in-park vehicles are LPG, battery-powered, or are hybrid vehicles. 35

36 In Hong Kong, over 4,814 tonnes of solid waste is sent to the Tseung Kwan O landfill every day. 36

50 Corporate Overview SENTOSA LEISURE GROUP Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) was set up on 1 September 1972 as a Statutory Board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI). SDC and its business units form the Sentosa Leisure Group. The group manages, plans, develops and maintains Sentosa Island. We are also the state-appointed managing agent for the Southern Islands.
