1 Grange Royals Round Up News from around the club April 2018 Issue 04 Metro Season Begins The season begins for six of our Metro teams this weekend, while the M1 Men have to wait another week until their season starts and the Masters Women also cool their heels with a bye. There are high expectations for a few teams this year; the M4 Women who were promoted after winning the M5 competition last year, and the M2 Men who are aiming for their fourth consecutive premiership. After a near perfect start to the year, the PL Men have another week off due to a bye which puts the focus onto the PL Women. They will have a tough task against a usually strong Adelaide side who have only played once this year, a 3-1 win over North East. Good luck to all the teams playing this week, especially those who are stepping onto the field for the first time this season. Registration Reminder With the PL season well under way, season 2018 starts for the remainder of the senior grades this weekend. Please make sure you have registered before your first game. Please go to the Grange Royals website at and click on the Registration tab to complete the process. Cancer Council Round The club is proud to announce that our annual Cancer Council Round will celebrate its fifth anniversary in This year s event will take place on Saturday May 12 th with our two Premier League and six Metro teams all playing at the State Hockey Centre from 12:15pm. Mark and Claire Dedman have worked tirelessly to get this event up and running for another year. They have been generously supported once again by Drakes Foodland at Angle Vale and the Kwinana Club, through Kimberley Pena, who supply the equipment and food for the BBQ. To date, we have donated just over $11,000 and we would love to see that figure climb close to $15,000 this year. It is a great day out where you can not only support your club but raise money for the fight against Cancer. See the event flyer on the following page for more details

5 Senior Presentation Dinner The 2016 Annual Senior Presentation Dinner will be held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre (Star Room) on Saturday 24th September at 7.00pm. Bookings online can only be done for one guest at a time. Before submitting your booking you can add additional guests. To confirm your booking, payments must be received by Friday 2nd September. The preferred method of payment is DIRECT DEPOSIT. Select 'Submit only' at the end of the booking process.
