6 Mower Deck Leveling SIDE-to-SIDE LEVELING FRONT-to-BACK LEVELING Importnt: The eccentric nut (c) nd locknut (d) come from from the fctory loose, proceed with the directions below.. Plce the mower deck pproximtely in the middle height of cut position.. Arrnge the two rer bldes so they re pointing from side-to-side. Using mesuring tool, mesure the distnce between the outside tips (, b) of ech blde nd the ground. The difference should be: less thn /8 (mm).. If the mower is level, hold the eccentric nut (c) while tightening the locknut (d). If the mower is NOT level, turn the eccentric nut (d) to rise or lower left hnd side of mower. When mower is level, hold the eccentric nut while tightening the locknut (d). lb-ft (5 Nm) d b c Importnt: The eccentric nut (d) nd locknut (e) come from from the fctory loose, proceed with the directions below.. Arrnge the bldes so they fce front to bck. Using mesuring tool, mesure the distnce between: lb-ft (5 Nm) () - the distnce between the rer tip of one of the bck bldes nd the ground. (b) - the distnce between the front tip of the center blde nd the ground. This should be /4 ( mm) higher thn mesurement (). e If the mower is level ccording to Step b, hold the eccentric nut (d) while tightening the locknut (e) d b

7 . If more thn /8 (0 mm) of djustment is needed: Support the deck in front using two bords Loosen bolts (c) on the djusting rod, then djust the bords until deck is level ccording to Step b. Tighten bolts nd torque s shown. If less thn /8 (0 mm) of djustment is needed: Turn the eccentric nut (d) to rise or lower front side of mower.
