According to Elias, his 13 strikeouts tied for the most ever by a Sox pitcher against the Yankees at Fenway Park (also Pedro Martinez, 13 SO on 5/30/01)...It was the most strikeouts for any pitcher against NYY since Chris Sale fanned 13 Yankees on 8/22/12 in Chicago. Kelly is the fi rst Red Sox pitcher to win 6 games in any calendar month since Pedro Martinez went 6-0 in May No Red Sox pitcher had won 6 games in any single August since Roger Clemens in 1990 (6-0). BRADLEY BONANZA: Jackie Bradley Jr. doubled twice last night for his 8th career game with multiple XBH, 4 of which have come since 8/9...In 20 games since that date, he leads MLB with a.438 AVG and 19 XBH, including an ML-high 11 2B to go along with 4 3B and 5 HR...16 of his last 21 hits have gone for extra bases (11 2B, 3B, 4 HR).
