1 TUESDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2010 MASTERS/VINTAGE DIVISIONS PLAYOFF MEETING IS WEDNESDAY The Roy Hobbs Advisory Committee will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Roy Hobbs World Series headquarters to determine the set up and seeding for the AAAA and AAA playoffs. Although 12 managers have been invited to participate on the committee, any interested managers are welcome to come and be involved too. The Committee will determine the 8 teams that remain in AAAA, and then review all teams from the general pool that are 3-1 or 4-0 to determine the 4 teams from the Pool that will advance to the double-elimination AAA playoffs. The seeding and scheduling announced late Wednesday afternoon at the headquarters, posted there and on royhobbs.com as well as being put on the Roy Hobbs Schedule line: The Friday pairings for the non-aaaa/aaa playoffs will be announced Thursday night at the Masters Division Pairings Party. Following the party, approximately 8:30 p.m., the pairings will be uploaded to royhobbs.com and be available on the tournament phone system: Masters Pairings Party Update The Masters Division Pairings Party will be held Thursday evening at MacDaddy s Grill and Pub on Daniels Parkway, 5 minutes from Lee County Stadium. The festivities begin at 7 p.m. at MacDaddy s, located at 8951 Daniels Parkway, which is halfway between Six Mile Cypress and I-75, on the north side of Daniels Parkway. Snack foods will be served at 7 p.m. and the pairings will be announced about 8 p.m. There will be a cash bar. Vintage Pairings Party Update The site for the Vintage Division Pairings Party will be announced in a special edition of the Inside Pitch on Wednesday. As it stands now, only the Vintage Division will be playing games on Wednesday. Usually, it comes from a sponsor or their hometown or even a favorite major league team. as a team, the Wolfdogs have come down and shown that original team names stand out. The team is made up of players who have played on other teams years ago several players were at dusk with the radio on. An some people spotting what they thought was a Wolfdog even saw the animal running along with them. their local league in northeast Ohio, they already had a name picked out. It since the majority of the team was coming down with other teams.

2 2 NOTEBOOK Drink water The weatherman promises things are going to get warmer this week. This is just a reminder that with the mid-80s heat and the humidity that everyone needs to stay hydrated. Foundation, is on-going at Lee County Stadium you can get your tickets at the same time you pick up your T-shirt and visit the Pro Shop on the Concourse. Tickets are $1 apiece or 6 for $5. The Roy Hobbs Foundation was established to raise assist our Challenged Athlete friends. Results corrections Please check the posted results and standings each day. Managers should contact Rob or Adam at Tournament Headquarters ( ) with corrections to scores. That s the best way to make sure that seedings and pairings are accurate. Just a reminder that Roy Hobbs is willing to furnish ice for injuries. However, Managers are advised from the start that they need to provide ice for pitchers arms, if needed.
