2 Head Coach Chris Pollard Notes Became Duke University s 25th head baseball coach in June of Led Duke to an at-large bid to the 2016 NCAA Tournament, ending the program s 55- year drought without an appearance in the postseason event. Registered his 500th career win May 1, 2016 at NC State. Recorded his 100th win at Duke March 15, 2016 against UMES to become the fastest Blue Devil head coach to reach 100 wins in program history. The first Blue Devil head coach to guide the team to three 30-win seasons in his first four campaigns. Had 11 players selected in the MLB Draft during his Duke tenure.
