The event is a fundraiser for the BBR Rural Fire Protection District Volunteer Association. Fee is $10 per person; cash or checks made out BBR RFPD Association. There will be a raffle for participants after the event.* The event is not timed. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. The Short Course, approximately 1.2 miles, is from the Lakeside Activity Center to the Big Meadow Clubhouse, and will return the same way. This route is primarily intended for kids 12 years and younger and walkers. Adults and fast walkers will run the Long Course, from the Lakeside Activity Center, to the Clubhouse, across the meadow, back on the bike path toward the General Store, staying on the bike path, and returning to the Lakeside. New trailers and tagalongs from Burley and Weehoo tow the kids. The Glaze Meadow Rental Shop also rents fatbikes from Surly.
