4 Tournament Information Welcome Banquet March 14, :00pm Wells Gray Inn Conference Center Team captain or selected player are asked to prepare a short paragraph of why they love playing hockey in their community. Each team will read this out during the banquet. Coaches Meeting March 14, 2015 North Thompson Sportsplex, Murtle Cres. Clearwater, BC 8:00pm The coaches meeting must be attended by at least one coach and or manager. Opening Ceremonies March 15, :30 pm North Thompson Sportsplex, Murtle Cres. Clearwater, BC Games March 15-18, 2014 North Thompson Sportsplex First game of tournament is March 15, 2015 Last game of tournament is March 18, 2015 Closing Ceremonies March 18, 2015 following the final game North Thompson Sportsplex Closing ceremonies are not mandatory for the teams. 5 Raffle table, 50/50 available throughout the tournament. Venue The North Thompson Sportsplex is located at 428 Murtle Cres. in Clearwater, BC, best known as the "Gateway to Wells Gray Park".. The North Thompson Sportsplex is a modern arena with a 85 x 185 ice surface, 8 full size dressing rooms, officials room, first aid facilities, a 2000 sq viewing area, seating for 500 fans, and concession.. Please list the names of everyone in order as they appear in the team picture. Team pictures must be in by March 1, am. Association Logo Please send a jpeg image of your association logo and your home and away jersey colors. Contact Information Please provide Head Coach and Manager names, home/cell numbers, and addresses. Be advised that we only have Telus and Bell cell service. Pre-orders only will be done for Provincial apparel, please have orders in by March 1,2015. An Equipment Check List will have been circulated to all teams prior to the Championship tournament. Players equipment should have been checked before leaving home. Prior to each team s first game and possibly during the week, an equipment check will be conducted by a Referee Committee Member, with a referee or the BC Hockey Representative. Particular attention will be paid to helmets, neck protection etc. Altered equipment will be removed from the game. Of significance are CSA certification and ear protection. Mask must be made for the particular helmet and fit properly. Throat protectors are to be BNQ certified. No torn pants will be permitted, if players have zippered pants they must be done up.
