If the above is No, please send a negative return and ignore the further questions. Yes
2 2. If so, how many groups do you have? The MPS Community Road watch scheme operates on an individual Borough basis across all 32 London Boroughs 3. Taking all those groups, how many Community Speed Watch volunteers do you have? A centralised record of volunteer details is not kept by the MPS. As volunteer numbers fluctuate at a local level, it is, not possible to provide an accurate answer for this, however when last reviewed (October 2016) there were 268 repeat volunteers across all 32 individual schemes. 4. Which Department deals with Community Speed Watch and where does it sit in your Force structure? Community Road Watch is a partnership scheme operated between Transport for London and the MPS s Roads and Transport Policing Command (RTPC). 5. If you have a Force Co-ordinator what is that person s role. This role is currently performed by T/Inspector Nick Frisby, Road Safety and Partnership Inspector for the Roads and Transport Policing Command. 6. May I have that person s address? communityroadwatch@met.police.uk 7. May I have a copy of your Force Community Speed Watch policy and procedures?
