The delicate profiles of the hills are decorated by the shapes of the cypresses and by vineyards' that accompany travellers in their journeys across towns. The path goes through Solferino, the theatre of one of the most gruesome battles in history, Cavriana featuring an Archaeological Museum with findings from the Neolithic age to the Longobard age and Volta Mantovana, featuring the beautiful garden in Palazzo Gonzaga, up to the Mincio cycling track near Pozzolo. Km partial Km total Description by the bridge enter the public park by the Cathedral and keep to the right exit the public park and cross the parking area of P.zza della Repubblica once you're out of the square keep to the left at the T junction take via Moscati on the right and continue straight on via Porta Lago ross the Benaco State road 567 and continue straight for Astore ride past a junction on the right and continue straight for Astore ride past a fork on the left and continue to the right towards Astore ride past the forks for Pedercini and S. Maria and go straight ride past the fork for S.Maria della Costa and go straight cross the bridge on the Bertocco stream from the right and go straight without entering Astore at the crossroads keep to the right for Grole at the end of the slight uphill slope keep to the left for Grole at the crossroads by Barca keep to the right for Grole on via Valle Scura at the crossroads turn left for Barche and Solferino by the oratory of Piccola Vedetta Lombarda ride past the side roads and keep going straight on take the steep uphill slope on the bicycle and pedestrian road for Rocca di Solferino on the right go straight at the cemetery by the Rocca turn at the second on the left at the end of the long downhill slope to P.zza Torelli at Solferino take the one-way road via XX Settembre as you walk your bicycle at P.zza Marconi go straight take a left on the Rivello municipal road for Cavriana take the Provincial road on the right take a left into via Rivello al Monte 2

Km partial Km total Description at the T junction turn right at the stop sign at the bottom of the slope turn left onto the provincial road for Cavriana follow Provincial road 13 to Cavriana then continue straight for the centre at Cavriana follow the road for Volta Mantovana immediately after follow the signs for the parish on the left at the stop sign go straight towards the sports centre little before the parish keep to the left at the stop sign by the T junction turn right at the Y junction leave via SS. Martiri on your left and keep to the right by the farmhouse go straight on the dirt road follow the main unpaved road past a side road on the left at the fork continue straight towards a cluster of houses at the asphalt road take a right ride across another asphalt road and take a left immediately after ride past a fork on the left cross the Provincial road and continue straight on via Montagnoli at the stop sign keep to the right into via Tonello for Volta Mantovana at the square by the parking area of the hospital keep to the left on via Tonello at the roundabout keep to the right as you go down towards the centre of Volta Mantovana at the bottom of the slope in P.zza Italia turn left into via 1848 and walk your bike for a short stretch as you are on a one-way road as you get to a square turn left into via San Martino, making sure you walk your bike at the bottom of the square keep to the left for Pozzolo right after turn left for Piazza Cantarana on the short bicycle and pedestrian path and immediately right into via Gonzaga 3

Km partial Km total Description at Piazzale Broggi take the cycle path on the left at the bottom of the parking area, just beyond follow the cycle path on the right continue along the cycle path slightly uphill and shortly after take a left on the bicycle path for Peschiera-Mantova as you get to an asphalt road keep to the left as you follow the bicycle path cross the road and go straight on the bicycle path as it enters the woods cross an asphalt road and continue straight on the bicycle path and at the crossroads immediately after go straight on the bicycle path at the bottom take the dirt slope downhill towards the canal ride past the footbridge over the Virgilio canal and go straight following the bicycle path that follows its course at the fork keep to the left and follow the road signs for the bicycle and pedestrian itinerary little after turn right across another little bridge and get to a beautiful rest area with a refreshment stand for cyclists near the Mincio cycle track end Overview map 4
