The same group also noed ha a wo-way bikeway on he waer-side could be he preferred design if wide enough (Design #2). To accommodae his design, hey noed a lef-hand urn lane may no be necessy a Folsom ree bu ha passenger loading/unloading needs should be accommodaed. The groups discussed he need o serve bicycliss who e casual riders as well as commuers and voiced concerns abou creaing safe condiions for vehicles o make righ-hand urns while avoiding conflics wih bicycles, and for lef-hand urns over he racks. Providing wider ravel lanes was one mehod discussed for improving comfor for drivers, picully bus drivers. Improved signals were suggesed o address urning concerns. The imporance of access for delivery vehicles was emphasized and prioriized over on-sree pking. Oher ideas ha were menioned included reversible vehicul ravel lanes o help accommodae peak hour raffic volumes.
