1 Milford Rebranding Process During the school year, the district s Business Advisory Council recommended the district go through a branding process with SHP design team leading the effort. The district had no true Eagle to represent our entire district and was using a Eagle that was repurposed from a professional sports team. Milford School District is unique because we are the Eagles from grades PK-12 and need a consistent and unified brand districtwide. A design team of administrators, staff, board members, art teacher, and community member started its work in May 2018.

2 Conducted Branding Survey in June ,334 Responses 59% Lived in District over 10 Years 37% years old 57% years old

3 Survey Responses 49% weren t satisfied with the District s official logo. 53% felt the official logo wasn t being used consistently throughout the District. 75% felt it was important to have a unified logo throughout the District. 60% felt it was important to have a distinct logo throughout the District and not repurpose a college or professional sports team. 77% felt it was important to have a NEW unified logo throughout the District.

Milford is a school that is reflective of Traditional, Friendly, Safe, Welcoming, community values and instills pride in students from the beginning. Once an Eagle Top Notch Teaching Staff, Supportive always an Eagle. Separate schools but one community. Big school with a small home town feel! #wingsup I love Milford, the academics are excellent, the Smart, hard-working, resourceful, optimistic, traditional, no-nonsense neighborhood is awesome and the extracurricular programs are many and accessible. The history and Big goals, small feel, personal, rigorous, fierce. culture of the neighborhood combined with so many top notch people makes it hard to beat.

15 Milford s Branding Plan A kit of parts with color and design specifications and guidelines will be released late October/early November Fiscally conservative approach to use of new brand...the district will replace items in their natural cycle and all new orders will feature new brand. Make official logo available to local vendors and community sports to build Milford pride.
