1 11 th Annual Dallas T&T Cup COACHES TECHNICAL PACKET WELCOME Coaches thanks for a.ending the 11 th Annual Dallas T&T Cup. This year looks again to be a successful meet for the athletes and we're excited to once again be an elite mobility meet. For those of you a.ending this meet for the first Cme the purpose is to provide a meet for all the athletes to feel like they are on the big stage. It s also and opportunity to bring some of the best athletes in level 9, 10 and Elite together to prepare for the upcoming season. CHECK-IN When you arrive at the Event Center you enter through the rotunda. There will be a table there for you to check-in at. At that table you will pick up athlete, coaching and/or judging credencals and sign in. Check in will begin at 2:30PM on Thursday. Any change fees or entry fees are due at that Cme before you can receive your credencals. Please have a check or cash with you, no credit cards accepted. USAG Pro Memberships must be up to date and your card printed!! The T210, safety cer?fica?on and background check must be up to date and printed on your card for verifica?on. No informa?on, No creden?al, No gegng on the floor. USAG charges the meet host $100 per expired coach signed in at the meet. All coaches should be on the sign in sheet. If you need to add a coach let me know ASAP! The Allen Event Center Staff will require athletes, coaches and volunteers to have credentials on in order to get onto the competition Floor and they are very strict about it. The Allen Event Center is an Ice Hockey Arena at times. The?loor will be insulated boards on top of ice. Please have athletes dress appropriately, we recommend they where slides on their feet. COACHES ATTIRE Coach s professional ayre on compeccon floor Violators will be asked to leave the floor Closed toe shoes, no sandals Slacks or Warm-up Pants (No shorts or jeans) Collared Shirt or Team Shirt We are professionals so let s look the part! (plus is an ice hockey rink)

2 PARENTS/ADMISSIONS Allen Event Center Parents are $15 a day or $25 for a weekend pass Seniors/Children (10 and under) are $10 a day or $15 for a weekend pass Children under 3 are free Please remind your parents to bring cash, checks and credit cards are not accepted. There are mulcple ATM s in the area. Open Training is closed to the public, this includes parents. At 6:30PM, they will let the public in to watch Syncro, there will be no charge for admissions on Thursday. Do not try to bring in food or drinks. They will make you get rid of them. You have been warned! Athletes & Coaches will have their own entrance and security this year. Bags will be checked for EXCESSIVE Food and drinks in their bags. We recommend athletes use their own water boule and only bring in healthy snacks. Parking in the area is free. There is plenty of shopping and dining in the area all within walking distance, including a Super Target, Cheddar s, Olive Garden, Moo Yah as well as many other really good restaurants and retail stores. If you want a fine movie watching experience there is an ipic Cinema Theater just across the street. JUDGES Judges will need to stop by the check-in table when they first arrive, you will receive a credencal, fee sheet and Judges will also need to sign the judge s sheet for USAG. You will need to have your USA GymnasCcs Membership Card printed for verificacon. Teams outside North Texas we ask that you please provide judges. One it helps to fill the panels and reduces the stress on the technical director. But more importantly it provides a certain level of representacon and helps to reduce bias. So, I am offering $50 per judge in travel fees for any judge coming from outside the North Texas area, however you must judge a half day to be eligible. This is in addicon to the hourly rate you receive. ATHLETES Athletes should be able to get into staging if they are in their compeccon ayre. However, please get them their credencals as quickly as you can. Athletes must have a credencal on when not compecng. Please have your athletes stay in the stands, when not compecng. We have an athlete gih. Have your athletes stop by the check in table to have their credencal hole punched and get their gih.

3 STAGING AREA Coaches please have your athletes in the Allen Event Center 1 hour before their flight?me. Have them in the staging area at least 40 minutes prior to their flight?me. If we have the opportunity to move ahead of schedule we will run early. We can start a flight 30 minutes early without having to wait and we will run a flight 30 minutes early if at all possible. We will not be concnually calling for athletes to come to staging so please have the athletes and parents aware of their flight Cmes and if we're running a head or behind. Athletes that are not compecng need to be up in the stands and not playing with their teammates or new found friends in the staging area. The staff will be asking the kids to go to the stands if they are not near their flight Cmes. AWARDS/FINALS Levels 1-4 will be flight awards only and will receive their medal at the event immediately following their flight. Levels 5-8 will be flight awards at the event. The top 3 over-all winners for each level and age-group will receive an Over-All Award. The award stand will be located in front lobby area. Athletes can visit the awards table to receive their award. We will have a special awards background area for parents to take pictures. Level 9 - Elites will receive flight awards during prelims on Friday. Level 9 & 10 top 3 from finals will be awarded an over-all award following finals. Top 3 Elites will receive over-all awards and prize money following the complecon of finals. Prize will be in cash. If there are not more than 3 athletes compecng in finals, prize money is reduced by half. FINALS SCHEDULE: Tramp : 8:00AM - 1:25PM Double Mini: 12:45PM - 6:25PM 6PM Concourse Area Tumbling: 12:45PM - 3:45PM 6PM Concourse Area ~ These Cmes include warm-up and compeccon ~ WARM-UPS There will be a two 2-hour open workout for levels 8-Elite on Thursday. Touches will be allowed and are based on the JO R&P.

5 ATHLETIC TRAINER We will have an athlecc trainer on-site at the Allen Event Center to help with taping and injuries. Athletes will need to bring their own tape to the compeccon. No trainer on-site Sunday COMPETITION CARDS CompeCCon cards are required for all Level 8, 9, 10 and Elite athletes. Per the J.O. Code of Points. You can find the compeccon cards located at the compeccon office or bring your own typed comp cards. Please make sure they are on the appropriate color paper. Please use correct FIG terminology and fill out prelims and finals on the same compeccon card! COMPETITION CARDS ARE DUE FRIDAY BEFORE 8AM!!! Please try to have them in by the end of open training Thursday. The venue is an ice hockey rink, the Floor is insulted and cover but still gets cold. Athletes should wear team warm-ups and have a pair of slides to wear on their feet when entering the arena. Check out the website the day of the meet for links to live streaming (If Available). AWARDS: Levels 1-4 will be Flight awards only. The gymnasts will be marched from the event to the awards area to get their awards. You can take pictures and pick your child up there following awards Levels 5-8 will get Flight awards at the event. The top 3 over-all winners will receive an over-all awards. These can be picked up at our awards table in the concourse of the event center once all Flights for that age-group and level are completed. The top 3 Level 9 - Elites will be recognized following Finals on Saturday. Parking in the area is Free! Lots of food and shopping all within walking distance of the Courtyard & Allen Event Center. ATHLETE GIFTS We have a gift for each athlete. Athletes will need to bring their lanyard to the check-in table. Lanyards will be marked once they received their gift.
