NCA will offer daily passes or a weekend pass which will be good for Friday Sunday competition. Tickets may be purchased with CASH ONLY. Checks and credit cards will not be accepted. Three tickets booths will be located at the Convention Center (A-Lobby, A/B Lobby, D-Lobby), and NCA will begin selling during registrations on Friday, and continue through the rest of the weekend PRO TIPS 1 - Purchase tickets Friday night for the weekend (CASH ONLY) 2 - Get to the arena early and find seats. The arena will fill up early in the morning and while you may have a ticket, you are not guaranteed a seat! 3 - Map out the event to have a smooth weekend 4 - Wear good walking shoes GETTING TO THE ARENA FROM THE HOTEL It s about a minute walk from the hotel to the Convention Center. There will be a lot of traffic and congestion in the area. Please plan to leave the hotel early to make any arrive times. Also note, you will want to leave early to make it to the arena to get seats. The arena will fill up and close very early and seats are not guaranteed.

3 PLAN YOUR WEEKEND SUCCESSFULLY NCA/NDA Nationals is one of the largest cheerleading and dance championship in the World, therefore it takes a huge complex to house it. Please take a look at the maps and plan your parking and schedules carefully. Parents are not allowed into the Warm-up Arena at any point. Please plan meeting areas with your teams. It is a GREAT idea to come by Friday and purchase your admission tickets for the weekend. Lines tend to be long Saturday & Sunday morning. Take the time to purchase your admission tickets and walk the facility to find your competition Arenas. Plus, you will be able to shop and pick-up your 2016 Event Apparel before it is sold out! INFORMATION BOOTH/LOST & FOUND/LOST PARENTS/CHILDREN Information Booths are located throughout the event. You may also purchase programs at the Information Booths. All lost & found items should be turned in to any Information Booth. If you have lost your child or your parents, please go directly to any Information Booth. CHEER WARM-UP ARENA Parents are NOT allowed in the Warm-Up Arena. Security is provided and is strictly enforced. Please keep in mind that it s a big complex and it s about a 15 minute walk from the Arena to the team check in area. PRIORITY VIEWING SECTION The Arena will offer a Special Viewing Area in section 26. Spectators will need to check in with NCA staff outside of section 27 approximately 10 minutes prior to their team s performance. Spectators will rotate from a holding area to the special viewing area, then exit following their team s performance. The Arena is a SIDE VIEW as seen below. Please note it will not be in front of the stage as in the other venues.

4 RANKINGS Rankings for all competitions will be posted on Varsity.com/Dallas16. All teams will perform twice at the NCA & NDA All-Star National Championship. Your Day 1 score will count as 25% of your final score. Your Day 2 score will account for the other 75%. NO TELEPHOTO / ZOOM LENSES ALLOWED Because we take the safety and security of our participants seriously, our policy is to protect your privacy and that of all participants. Still cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses will not be allowed during performances by unauthorized personnel/officials at any NCA Event. *HOVER BOARDS / SCOOTERS / ETC. NOT ALLOWED* For the safety of participants and attendees at our events, NCA does not allow the use of Hover Boards, Razor Scooters, RipStiks, Skateboards or any similar wheeled conveyances outside the competition venue or inside the competition venue or in the pre-function space. The only wheeled conveyances allowed will be those that have been deemed medically necessary for the individual using it (wheelchairs, medical knee walkers, etc). VIDEOS DVD sales will not be offered due to, among other things, lack of demand and changing technology. Parents may use their personal cameras in the venue. However, use of professional recording equipment is still prohibited

5 CONVENTION CENTER LAYOUT PROGRAMS/ SCHEDULES NCA, in an effort to be green--will have schedules available through a QR reader at the event. Please have schedule on your phone or download a QR reader app on your smart phone. DRESS Sat, Sun - Athletes-Full uniform and warm up DOORS OPEN 6:30am UPON ENTRY TO VENUE Walk to the ACE Room to check in with team rep ACE ROOM A 121 TEAM MEET POINT BEFORE WARMUP All athletes will MEET in the ACE Room but must be ready to leave from there at the meet time. We will walk from the meet point to warmup pretty soon after our meet times in the schedule.

6 WHO SHOULD CHEER FOR OUR TEAM We are asking all teams and parents cheer for each ACE team performing. SECURITY All participants, coaches, and spectators are subject to random checks prior to entering the Championship venue. Please refrain from bringing any unnecessary bags, cases, etc. Security will also monitor use of video cameras during the event. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. DART Rail There is also a mass transit station with numerous stations which will take you and your team to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center (Convention Center Station) and numerous other locations around Dallas. Please visit the below website for specific rates, schedules & station locations CONVENTION CENTER PARKING There is a parking map included at the back of this packet. Parking is $15 per car in all of the Convention Center garages. There are also numerous surrounding parking lots that offer different pricing options. Charter Busses will only be allowed to park in Lot C. Charter drop offs can occur only in Lower A/B lobby and Lower D lobby. DO NOT LEAVE PERSONAL ITEMS UNATTENDED Please do not leave personal items unattended at anytime during the event. If your gym is assigned a personal meeting room, please be sure to leave a parent or individual in the room should you choose to leave items in that location. Please do not leave your bags backstage prior to your performance. NCA & NDA recommends Cheerleaders & Dancers leave their bags with team parents prior to reporting to the practice room. NCA & NDA will have security during the event; however, these individuals are not responsible for watching personal items. FAMILY ZONE Sponsors will be located in C-Ballroom 1 on Saturday and Sunday of the event. Spectators and participants are all welcome. PARENT SIGN IN/SIGN OUT You are required to sign your athlete out with your team rep. Please remember to meet your team rep after your awards.
