RegionTournament Coaches: Prior to the Regional Tournament all four coaches must fill out the Team Information Form on the U.I.L. website and send in their pictures to the U.I.L. at: pictures@mail.uil.utexas.edu

3 Admission: (Special pass gate is located at the NW entrance for media/coaches) 1. No admissions or passes allowed once building reaches capacity. 2. Ticket gates will sell at 4:30 PM Friday. Arena gates open at 5 PM Friday. On Saturday, ticket gates open at 3:30 PM and arena gates open at 4 PM. 3. Ticket prices: $8.00 (3 years and under free) 4. All Access Passes 5 for coaches only - given at practice/orientation. 5. Tickets sold on-line at ticket link: 6. We suggest buying tickets early on-line. 7. Passes allowed: (Bearer + 1) Must be current year & show I.D.- TABC, TGCA, THSADA, THSCA, TASO (no district passes allowed) 8. Complimentary tickets each School District Athletic Director will be given 60 tickets to each game. These should be given to sub-varsity teams, principals, coaches family, and administration members. These tickets do not grant all-access and sitting is limited to regular stands admission. Charlie Stevens will these complimentary tickets to each Athletic Director. Only the Friday advancing winning teams will receive Saturday complimentary tickets. 9. No exit and re-entry of the LMC is permitted. 10. No outside food or drinks are allowed. Cheerleader & Spirit Group Policies: 1. Cheerleaders in uniform will be allowed admission through west gate. 2. Cheerleader sponsors must enter with cheerleaders. 3. Cheerleaders will be allowed on court only during time outs, at half-time, or between games. 4. Clean court shoes only will be allowed on the floor. 5. Megaphones are not allowed in the LMC. 6. Cheerleaders may cheer behind team goal of each half. North goal cheering in Northeast corner and South goal cheering in Southwest corner. 7. Sponsor will be given 2 chairs for sitting on the arena floor near squad. 8. No reserved seating available in the stands. 9. No cheerleader objects are to be thrown into or out of the stands. 10. Live animal mascots are not allowed in the LMC. Dummy mascots may not be paraded or displayed in front of the opponents bench or stands. Team Stats: Only one team stat person or book person is allowed at the scorer s table from each school due to space availability and importance of the game. The LMC will provide the official scorebook, scorekeepers and PA announcer.

4 Press: 1. Media must contact and be approved by Elizabeth Prichard Jones at the LMC ( ) prior to 5 PM on Thursday to enter the pass gate. 2. The Media pass gate is located at the west entrance after approval. 3. Radio/TV: please contact the LMC office if local stations are attending. 4. Press photographers will be allowed on the court on the east side corners only during the contest. Admission to the court will be by sideline pass only. Requests for passes should be made to the LMC office ( ) and be approved by 5 PM on Thursday, March 5. Programs: Katy ISD will supply the program. Each team needs to fax a roster or most recent game program to the LMC s Elizabeth Prichard Jones at ElizabethJPrichardJones@katyisd.org Pre-tournament Practice Shoot-around Schedule: (LMC orientation of facility) Each team may practice only on Friday, March 6 in the LMC if scheduled below: : (11:00-Noon) : (Noon 1:00 P.M.) : (1:00 2:00 P.M.) : (2:00-3:00 P.M.) Training Room: Located in room # 135 with K.I.S.D. trainer on duty. Hospitality Room: Located in room # 142 for coaches, officials & administrators. Must wear LMC wristband to enter. *** Pre-Tournament Coaches & Officials Meeting: in room # 144 at 5:00 P.M. Pre-Game Activity: minute minimum for warm-up 2. Friday Introduction of the starters, coaches and administration. 3. Saturday Introductions of the entire teams. 4. National anthem and warm-up music will be provided by Katy I.S.D. Game Ball: State ball of the U.I.L. Baden Perfection Elite Practice & Warm-up Balls will be provided. The LMC has old Spalding warm-up balls and 8-10 new UIL Baden balls. You may bring your own warm-up balls if you currently use the Baden balls or just choose to use your own. Half-time: 10 minutes in length. No half-time shooting by other teams. All half-time performances must be pre-approved by Elizabeth at the LMC.

5 Post-Game Activity: 1. Tournament post meeting room is available in room # 144 if needed for school administrators, coaches and media. 2. The UIL states that protests based on the decision of a game official will not be permitted. Eligibility of a student should be referred to the UIL staff. The State Executive Committee decides questions of eligibility. 3. Game ball and U.I.L. trophies will be given on the court following play. 4. Nets will be cut down by champion team following play. 5. The final winning coach MUST pick up the State U.I.L. packet for Austin. 6. Video DVD of each game & a game ball will be provided to each coach (4). Agreements: 1. Hand-held signs allowed only if they are no larger than 24 x Signs & banners are not allowed to be posted anywhere in the LMC. 3. No bands, artificial noisemakers, megaphones, bell, whistles, etc. 4. The use of confetti and balloons are prohibited in the LMC. 5. Minimum of 12 years old on team bench. 6. Only teams, officials, administrators and game workers allowed on floor with All access pass or wrist band. 7. Please identify the athletic director or principal who is to come on the floor after the game. 8. No objects are to be thrown into or out of the stands. This includes activities involving the cheerleaders. 9. Refrain from using water as a means of celebration. 10. Food or drink may not be brought into the LMC.
