1 3A West Regional Volleyball Tournament Riverton, WY October 27 th & 28 th, 2017 Riverton High School and the city of Riverton are pleased to host the 3A West Regional Volleyball Tournament. We look forward to a fun and competitive weekend of volleyball. Please review the following information. GENERAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION Games will be played at Riverton High School. TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR Reggie Miller Riverton High School Activities Director TEAM PACKETS Will be available upon arrival at Riverton High School. All necessary information, including passes will be in the packets. Each team will receive 15 participant passes (12 player and 3 managers), 3 coach passes, 3 spouse passes, and 1 bus driver pass. A pass will be required to enter in the west side of the school (back parking lot). BUSES Teams will enter the gym on the west side (back parking lot by the pool) of the school. Please DO NOT drop off or pick up athletes at the front doors of the High School. All buses will need to park in back of the high school. TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE The tournament bracket with game times is included in this packet. The team record form (S-1) is due by noon on Sunday, October 22 nd. Brackets will be sent to participating schools and posted on the whsaa.org website as soon as possible. RULE No more than twelve players can be in uniform for any tournament contest. The twelve players whose names are entered in the official scorebook for the first tournament contest shall be the only players used for the entire tournament. Violation of this provision shall cause forfeiture as per WHSAA Rules and 1.4.

2 HOSPITALITY ROOM For your convenience, the Riverton Culinary Students will host a hospitality room located in the pool classroom in the pool building. The hospitality room is available to administrators, coaches, officials, bus drivers, and tournament workers. CONCESSIONS Will be available starting at 4:00 PM on Friday and all day on Saturday. LOCKER ROOMS Locker rooms will be available for dressing purposes. Please take personal items to your team area in the stands. Locker rooms will not be secured. Towels will not be provided. Locker rooms will be designated for each game. TEAM AREA Teams watching the tournament are asked to sit in the stands across from the scorer s table. HOME/AWAY DESIGNATION: The team listed on the top of the bracket will be designated as the HOME team and the team on the bottom will be designated as the VISITING team. The HOME team will have the choice of which bench to sit on for the first set. TRAINING ROOM The training room will be available for use throughout the tournament. Please bring your training supplies. Riverton High School trainer, Ross E. Anderson, should be available for consultation throughout the tournament. LINE JUDGES/SCORERS Powell High School will provide line judges, bookkeepers, clock operators and libero trackers for all the tournament games. 3 Roster upload link ALL-CONFERENCE SELECTION As per 3A West Conference Bylaws, each coach is to nominate his/her own players for allconference consideration. Nominations must be ed to Reggie Miller no later than October 26, The All-Conference meetings will be held on Friday night 30 minutes after the conclusion of the second semi-final game played that evening. Coaches will select 16 All- Conference Players and one conference Coach of the Year. TOURNAMENT T-SHIRTS 3A West Regional Volleyball T-Shirts will be sold during the tournament. Please see attached order form for team ordering of T-Shirts.
