2 BIG BID National Championship January 6-7, 2018 BJCC East Exhibit Hall Event Producer-ECC- Elite Cheer Championships; A Deep South Cheer event Event Type-RED FOX National Championship is a 2-day National event with World Bids. Programs/ Schedules-BIG BID, in an effort to be green--will NOT have schedules printed out at the event. Please have schedule on your phone or print out before arrival. Dress-Athletes-Arrive competition ready/full uniform Staff- ACE shirt or ACE dress/theme clothing Location-Event is located at- BJCC East Exhibit Hall; NOT THE CONCERT HALL WHERE WE HAD MEET THE TRIBE. The East Exhibit Hall is directly connected to the Sheraton walkway near the Starbucks. Parking-Parking and cost associated with parking should be the similar to all events at BJCC. If you arrive early enough or search enough there is free parking around the BJCC complex. It is park at your own risk. Parking general cost is $8.00-$ Please have cash for parking. Spectator Cost-Entry for spectators is $20.00 per day; 3 and under are free Please have cash for admission Athletes Entry-IF YOUR PARTICIPANTS WOULD LIKE TO RE-ENTER THE VENUE TO WATCH SATURDAY OR SUNDAY THEY MUST EITHER BE IN FULL UNIFORM OR HAVE ON A PARTICIPANT ARMBAND. EACH PARTICIPANT CAN PICK UP ONE PARTICIPANT ARMBAND FROM THE PARTICIPANT TABLE IN THE MAIN HALL. THEY MUST BE LISTED ON THE TEAM ROSTER AND MUST IMMEDIATLEY PLACE ARMBAND ON THEIR WRIST. IF THEY RETURN IN NORMAL CLOTHING WITH PARTICIPANT ARMBAND, THEY WILL BE CHECKED TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE ON THE ROSTER. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PARENTS AND PARTICIPANTS ARE AWARE OF THIS INFORMATION AND THAT THEY DO NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OR VIOLATE THESE RULES. WITHOUT ONE OF THESE, THEY WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE $20 ADMISSION FEE. Are Bags/Purses Allowed -We have been told that the clear bag policy is not for the exhibit halls. Doors Open- Saturday - 9:00am please do not try to enter before that time. Sunday - 8:30am please do not try to enter before this time

3 Upon entry to venue- Find your team rep at pre-determined spot. (team rep will alert you to location); Because of the high spectator cost for entry to event, I suggest that team rep meets team in lobby so that if any parents want to forgo event to save money, they may. Longer time at event due to it being a national event- Expect a longer stay at this event due to it being a national event. If you must leave early your athlete must make up that time on the front end of the schedule. (leave an hour early then you must have athlete arrive an hour earlier than scheduled time/ this must be coordinated through your all star director). If an athlete leaves early without making up time on the front end of his/her schedule he/she may be dismissed from the ACE program. Who should cheer for our team- Because of the high cost for entry to event the parent/spectator pool may be smaller for this event. We ask that all ACE athletes and parent help cheer for all ACE teams that compete during your time at event. Is there a parent/fan area- There is not always a parent fan area where parents and fans can get an up close view of routines. It is up to each individual event producers. We usually find out upon arrival based off of set up. If there is- I encourage you to pack it out and make it loud! Because of the high cost for entry to event the parent/spectator pool may be smaller for this event. Concessions- Concessions will be similar to previous events. You will find it to be typical convention type food and prices. Cash will be needed. Athletes are not allowed to leave venue for food. If convention/arena food is not in your favor please pack lunch in backpack. Before or after the event please check out Your Pie located adjacent to the BJCC. Your Pie is a pizzeria owned by an ACE family. Vendors- BIG BID usually has a fun vendor booth with cheer merchandise available to purchase. There will be no ACE merchandise available for purchase. Cash is preferred. Awards- If you choose to leave you also forfeit any merchandise/medals/trophies that is given out. If you do stay please let us know immediately if ever your athlete doesn t receive an award that the team has been given at an event. Sign Out- Make sure you sign your athlete out with your team rep. SCORING- All divisions will be a 50/50 score. Saturdays score is worth 50% of total and Sundays score will comprise the other 50% of total. ECC will be using a highly decorated Worlds quality and experienced judging panel.
