1 FINAL RESULTS 2017 HI-POINTS Below are the Final Hi-Point results and there have been few changes. Leeanne has reviewed where horses were equal in the Interim results and where possible has removed the equal status. In some cases the points were identical and there hasn t been a differentiator so these placings remain as equals. Leeanne will be presenting a report to the Committee meeting on the 5 th August 2017 including how her calculations were made. This will be discussed by the committee and the rules will be formalised, documented and published as the official rules for next year onwards. Please note the following:- 1. These results were collected from four Shows 2. The results are scaled as follows:- 4 or more in the class = 1 st 4 points, 2 nd 3 points, 3 rd 2 points, 4 th 1 point 3 in the class = 1 st 3 points, 2 nd 2points, 3 rd 1 point 2 in the class = 1 st 2 points, 2 nd 1 point 1 in the class = 1 st 1 point 3. If two horses received the same points, but one horse has first placings it will take precedent in placings over the other horse. If both horses received equal first placings or neither horse received a first placing, then the placings are equal 4. Hi-Points include points for Supremes, Runner Up Supremes, Champions and Runner Up Champions. This will make a difference between points collected for Halls of Excellence and Hi-Points as Halls of Excellence points are based only on points collected in the class 5. Hi-Points include categories for Masters, NZ Bred, Super Seniors and these are not included in Halls of Excellence 6. Hi-Points for breed classes are based on Typing so there are categories for Foundation, Classic and Modern. Halls of Excellence are based on Mare/Filly, Stallion/Colt and Gelding. This means that for Hi-Points if you started in one category (e.g. Classic) and you move to another category during the season (e.g. Foundation), your earlier points are lost. 7. The Overall Hi-Point Winners for each section (e.g., those listed under the pink sections) are to four places and will receive Cups and Certificates at the Prize Giving
