Starting Time: 10:00 a.m. Youth Classes: $20.00; Member Discount $15.00 Amateur & Adult Special NeedsClasses: $25.00; Member Discount $20.00 Open Classes: $30.00; Member Discount $25.00 Pinto Classes: $10.00 (Not eligible for flat fee) Flat Fee: $ for up to 12 Classes (Pre-Entry Only Horse Must be Owned by a Member Of OBMHC) Arrival Time: No Arrivals Before noon on 2/8 Without Prior Notification All participating horses must be AMHA registered. Stallions three years and older must have a stallion certificate in order to participate. All horses must be measured. Stalls are $60.00 for Thursday - Sunday (two horse maximum) or $30.00 for Sunday only. Showing out of the trailer will also be $30.00 for up to two horses for Sunday. A grounds fee of $5.00 per horse will be charged.camper hook-ups are $30.00 per day for electric and water; $45.00 for full hookup with sewer. Valid AMHA registration, youth and/or amateur numbers, and current coggins (within 1 year), and health certificate within 30 days on out of state horses must be provided. All horses must be registered with the American Miniature Horse Association. The AMHA show has three judges. Points and awards will be awarded by each judge. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st - 6th place. Championship Ribbons will be awarded for Grand Champions, Reserve Grand Champions & Supremes. The PtHA show will have one judge. 2 WINTER WARM UP AMHA SHOW February 11, 2018 General Rules and Information Entry Fees: Open Classes: $30.00; Member Discount $25.00 Amateur and Adult Special Needs Classes: $25.00; Member Discount $20.00 Youth Classes: $20.00; Member Discount $15.00 Flat Fee: $ for up to 12 Classes (Pre-Entry Only Horse Must be Owned by a Member) Pre-entry deadline: January 21, 2017 Youth Classes: All youth must have an AMHA Youth number to participate. An application may be filled out at the Horse Show Office day of show if needed. AMHA youth are those youth 18 years & under as of January 1, Amateur Classes: Pinto Classes: Measuring: Office Information: Entries: Refunds: PA System: Conduct: Special Needs Exhibitors: An AMHA Amateur Card is required to participate in Amateur classes. Amateur cards are $10.00 to AMHA members; $50.00 to non-members. Applications are available at the Horse Show Office. Amateurs showing in Amateur/AOTE classes must be the owner of the horse or an immediate family member. AOTE horses must not have been handled by a professional handler under any circumstance since December 31, Miniature Pinto classes will be offered this year! All participating horses must be registered with PtHA. Classes entries are $10.00 per class. Rules of PtHA will be observed in judging these classes. A separate entry form is provided for your pinto entries. These classes are non-rated with AMHA, but pointed for PtHA. Owners and Exhibitors of horses shown in the Pinto classes must be current members of PtHA. Exhibitors showing Pinto must complete the separate PtHA entry form. The PtHA Show will be a one-judge show. Measuring will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 8 through 8:00 p.m. and each morning thereafter from 7:00 8:00 a.m. each day or at a scheduled time as requested in the show office. All horses must be measured. Exhibitor packets and numbers will be issued after measurement. A clear copy of your registration papers must be presented at measuring. Please have a copy of your horse's coggins (within 1 year) available, 30 day health certificate on out-of- State horses, & copy of registration showing both sides. Owners of senior stallions (3 yrs. & older) must present a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection for cryptorchidism to show management prior to participating in an AMHA approved show. Judges Evaluation Cards will be available in the Show Office, and may be completed on a voluntary basis. All entry forms, copies of both sides of the AMHA registration papers for each horse, lease agreements, copy of Coggins papers, copy of Amateur and/or Youth cards, copy of Veterinary Inspection for Senior Stallions, and a check/money order in payment of classes, stalls, AMHA fee, RV fees, etc., are to be sent to Show Manager Laura Mullen. Checks are to be made payable to Orange Blossom Miniature Horse Club. Entries postmarked after the pre-entry deadline will be assessed a post-entry fee of $5.00 per class. There will be no refunds given on any entries or fees. It is the owner/handler/exhibitor's responsibility to be on time for classes. Announcements to the barn area are a management courtesy. Gate holds will be limited to 2 minutes. Tack holds need to be requested with the gateperson. Cruelty, abuse or inhumane treatment of any horse in the show ring, barn, stalls or on the fairgrounds is strictly prohibited. The use of stimulants or depressants or any drug affecting the showing of a horse is forbidden. Special needs exhibitors are welcome to show. 3 Stabling: Smoking: Box stalls available for $60 for Thurs-Sun (maximum of 2 horses per stall) or $30.00 for Sunday only. Shavings available for $8.50 per bag. Use of straw as bedding is prohibited. Stall cleanings to be dumped in designated areas only. Showing off the trailer is permitted at $30.00 per horse for Sunday. Horses MAY NOT BE LEFT TIED FOR AN EXTENDED TIME BY THE ARENA. No smoking will be allowed in the barns, on deck, in the arena or in the horse show office.
